  1. Magox is obviously most comfortable when he's standing in the face of attackers, so he deliberately creates scenarios that involve people attacking him. No better way to do that than to attack first. He was obviously bullied as a child. And I'm not saying this to be mean, only to show him that he isn't all that hard to figure out, no matter how vehemently, or passive-aggressively, he chooses to deny it. Bullying begets bullies. Age-old rule that he (along with MANY others in the world, mind you) follows to a tee.
  2. So, will anyone bother to answer the question? Is Schopp really permanently gone?
  3. People talk about this like it would have to be some sort of huge conspiracy that one loose lip would ruin. But that's simply not true. The team's been running the no-huddle SLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, with the guys not hurrying to the LOS, the refs not placing the ball down and tripping over themselves to not get run into by an O-Lineman already getting in his stance, Trent looking to the sidelines for 20 seconds and then audibling into VANILLA RUN PLAYS almost every time he does it. And that's all they're doing. It's not a huge secret, if that IS some plan of theirs, to not show what the no-huddle will really look like. And frankly, without T.O. in the game, their second-year QB behind a brand new O-Line, what did everyone expect to see? No, Terrell Owens WAS picked up to be our savior on Offense. Without him in there, especially after Trent has spent the whole Training Camp designing every checkdown to GO to Owens, what did we expect? I mean, just look at how lazy it's made Reed and Parrish? They more than anyone know that they are due to get one, two, maybe three balls thrown to them a game now that we have T.O., and the offense is becoming more Tight End friendly. So obviously their heads aren't in it. Hell, Parrish's bags are flipping already packed, from what I hear. So, there's no T.O. in there, and, they're running it slow, two HUGE factors that must be mentioned when their performance is being judged. And I'm GUESSING that they're NOT running it so slow because they think...and how did Jauron put it the other day...oh yes, "There's really no difference between huddling and not huddling." I'm serious. If he really believes that, then he truly IS a bigger idiot than I could ever have imagined, and I just can't allow myself to believe that ANY team in the National Football League would keep a guy THAT dumb on its staff for THIS long. *prays*
  4. I said it the other day and I'll say it again. Bills - 41 Pats - 31
  5. I'm on board. Nothing to lose by having hope at this point.
  6. I actually think it's possible, exactly the way you just said it. With a team relying so heavily on basically two new guys, Terrell Owens on Offense and Aaron Maybin on Defense, with basically the exact same team as last year besides, the only thing that's going to make this Bills team better than 8-8, and therefore a playoff team, is the element of surprise. They HAVE been running completely vanilla schemes, on BOTH sides of the ball, this entire time. I dunno, I just got a funny feeling.
  7. But it won't be Reed, it'll be Terrell Owens. Big difference.
  8. Yes. Yes, it does.
  9. It bugs me that Maybin's speed "surprised" Jauron. It will bug me even more if maybin is resigned to 3rd Downs in Week One. He's easily the best pass rusher we have on the D-Line, and he's had one week of physical work, for God's sake.
  10. I just watched the NFL Channel replay of the first three quarters and all I know is, THAT is NO "no-huddle" offense out there. Aside from maybe three total plays (all of which went for 10+ yards), the Bills lazily made their way back to the LOS and Trent spent 10+ seconds behind center before the ball was snapped. Sorry, but I can't believe even a coaching staff as inept as ours would allow the no-huddle to run that slowly, unless it was on purpose. My uneducated opinion is this: The Bills coaches on the sideline look to see what the defense looks like when the Bills all get back to the LOS, and THAT is what they go to the film room with. And yeah, this is reaching slightly, but with the Patriots* as the first game of the season, on Monday Night, there really is a reason to believe that they are holding their cards UNUSUALLY close to the vest. I mean, what do they have to lose by keeping some plays restricted to the practice field? They (DJ and his coaches) all know that this is their last go. If the Bills come out on September 14th and the no-huddle looks like it has this pre-season, I'll eat my shorts. That's how confident I am that they have plans to go from 1st gear to 4th gear and blow everyone away who had nothing but this vanilla fudge version to watch as they prepare for us. Now "Footsteps" Trent Edwards is another story, entirely. His tentativeness is NOT part of the Preseason game plan. His staying in the pocket and forcing throws underneath, rather than busting out a five-ten-yard run...well, THAT might be part of the game plan.
  11. Trent "Footsteps" Edwards needs T.O. to actually be better than he's been before. Good test for Owens, and if anything, Owens likes challenges. And frankly, nothing Owens says about Trent is going to cause controversy, as everyone will agree with him, including Trent.
  12. Spot on. I'm seeing the cracks appear in DJ's stone-cold facade, too. There might be hope for him, yet. Now, all he needs to do is bench the guys who need benching, and not ruin what he's started by calling them out publicly. If he fails to do that, then I'll go right back to hating his guts.
  13. I'm just pissed beyond belief that Schobust couldn't stay flippin healthy....AGAIN.....and he ruins what COULD have been the best game by a Bills Defensive front in YEARS. Maybin is going to help a decent DE on the other side, and Schobel might have just missed his chance to resurrect his flailing career. How long is the douchebag hurt for this time? Anyways, Stroud and the other !@#$ers better realize what they have staring them in the face with this Maybin kid, and learn goddam quick how to get past their SINGLE blocker from now on, because they are totally exposed now as the failures that they are. Here's to hoping they just got lazy, knowing that even their best efforts were never going to get them into the pocket in time for a sack, and now that they have a flippin GREAT pass rusher on the line with them, maybe they'll remember how to actually TRY again. And, seriously, Terrell Owens. That's it, that's really all I should have to say. Terrell Owens. The Bills Offense isn't just missing a WR. They're missing Terrell flipping Owens. Trent is LOST without him, and it shows. Big whoop. We knew this was posssible. But Terrell Owens will be back SOON. And if we're really lucky, the vastly improved pass rush (you know, the thing that makes the Tampa II go from Bust to Brilliance), along with the best WR to play the game in decades, just those two things combined, will help this team go from the seemingly hopeless bunch they are into a 9-7, maybe even a 10-6 team.
  14. Oh awesome. I was JUST about to call DirecTV and cancel. Whew!!
  15. I was just listening on the radio cuz I'm out of town, but was it not true that the three or four times the Bills actually ran a QUICK no-huddle and snapped the ball QUICK, they gaind good yards every time? And Maybin, still obviously "out of football shape", got triple and double-teamed and still got a sack. I'm not saying they look like champions out there, but it seems like there MIGHT be something to this team that they are keeping in the box until Week One. I know, I know.... Flame away
  16. Jesus. Someone should start a Bills penalty ticker
  17. That's what the No-Complet....er....No-Huddle gets ya
  18. Hey is the Bills Website not doing that game ticker today??
