  1. Re-sign him, re-sign him, re-sign him. He belongs here. He's good for the city. The trick is to get Trent to look his way more during the game than two or three times. Because if they don't do that, T.O. will JUSTIFIABLY bolt from here. The people who are voicing their distaste for him are merely fabricating situations that aren't there.
  2. If the Bills beat the Saints, I'll certainly start to rethink some things.
  3. Bills should stagger the no-huddle, anyway. Create penalties for too many men, and keep the defense constantly guessing and looking around. Kelly and Crew did that alot. But no, you don't scrap it.
  4. Roscoe ain't gonna bust any on this PR squad anyhow. April's guys have totally lost their edge this season. He's wasting away here. If a team's willing to give up a reasonable pick in next season's draft, we should make the trade.
  5. Score one for the neanderthalism of NFL fans, you mean.
  6. OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Maybin please learn a spin move before next Sunday OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMStop taking your cues from Aaron Schobel and trying to get to the pocket by way of an arc thru the end zone OMMMMMMMMMM No, seriously, New Orleans is gonna MURDER us if we aren't 100X better than we've been with our inside pass rush with just the front four. Death on wheels. I pray I'm wrong, of course.
  7. Schobel doesn't have a good second move, never had, never will. Maybin has yet to prove that he can learn one. Fewell does need to learn how to have his DEs shift inside before the snap once in a while, and use different blitz packages, etc. or we will see the same thing as we saw today. Numerous big pass gains. While I clamour for another playmaking passrusher being got by the Bills to round out their defense, again, I think it all falls down to the fact that Fewell is about as creative and innovative coach as Dick Jauron is. And that will always be problematic.
  8. Don't be so sure. Fewell's defensive schemes have almost ALWAYS been reactionary, and so the Saints might just prepare their game plan to take advantage of us playing almost exclusively to stop the pass. They could easily gain 150+ yards on the ground, because we'll be giving it to them all day long.
  9. We could still REALLY use a better pass rush. Our backs and LBs are NOT going to get a whole lot better in coverage, and we're gonna end the season FAR from the top of the league in pass defense, and give up FAR too many big plays, until we can get into the backfield quicker CONSISTENTLY. I'm torn between wanting to see what we can do with a Marshawn/Freddie two-back set and wanting to see what kind of pass rusher we can nab in a trade for a quality RB like Marshawn.
  10. This will probably end up being a game where the Bills coulda used a wicked two-back set with both ML and FJ. Too bad Lynch got caught with a legal firearm in his trunk and didn't just brutally kill hundreds of animals or he'd be back for this one.
  11. I hear all the seats at Dallas Stadium suck your *%$#, too.
  12. 165 yards, and you think it's unheard of? OK, Mrs. Lynch. Good to hear from you today.
  13. I said passrusher, not wannabe. Kelsay/Denney? lmao. But no, what's Kansas City's rushing game look like right now, for example? I mean they're 0-2, and word was they were LB heavy, right?
  14. All I want for Christmas is for Maybin to learn a decent spin move. Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease
  15. Omon would be a help. Lynch would be a FORCE. But again, I say, if you can get a real defensive passrusher for him, trade him and deal with Omon as your backup. It wouldn't kill us, after all, and the defense would finally look consistently better.
  16. I have to admit, he looked unhappy at appropriate moments and happy at appropriate moments.
  17. Did it really look to you that Scott's play was a drop-off at ALL from Butler's? Not to me.
  18. Lynch would get us a NIIIIIICE passrusher, I bet, in a trade.
  19. Scott wasn't even a step down from Butler, either. Good stuff.
  20. Aren't the Bills the LATE game, though?
  21. I didn't see the clause in there that allowed McGee to skip the first game after signing.
  22. Well, Jackson does have way more yards than Lynch right now.
  23. I predict actual urine staining DJ's trousers this time.
