  1. Yeah, sure, but we are JUST as close to losing every close game from now until the end of the season. Just as close.
  2. Yeah, you guys have convinced me. Because Sullivan was a dirty softball player in the 80s, he's got to be dead wrong about Jauron's gutless approach to coaching football.
  3. I disagree. If Trent was a better, more ablebodied QB, with a bigger brain and more football smarts, he'd take the freedom he's been given by his HC to audible into better plays and execute them under pressure. So, in essence, it's perfectly legitimate to complain about Trent AND DJ in the same sentence.
  4. Yeah, he's slipping bigtime. Obviously, the wedge was what got Roscoe and Leodis into the clear. Also, the lack of discipline, the blocking in the back, the blocking guys out of bounds, that crap is making April look like a bad coach right now.
  5. There's no point in giving him ONE more snap if he's going to cower in fear every down. Unless you're Jauron, and do all your coaching out of Coaching For Dummies.
  6. Where's the guarantee that Wilson will fire Jauron even if we end the season at 1-15?
  7. The fact that Wilson obviously has no problem with it really gets under my skin.
  8. Screens also work well in that situation, and I agree 100%. If Trent "Footsteps" Edwards can't get the job done, let the watch the game from the bench.
  9. All I wanna know is, how do we go into the bye week 5-4 after only playing 8 games?
  10. Watch Favre today. Don't stop the tape early. Stay til the last two seconds. Then watch Trent's game. Trent is the ANTI-Favre.
  11. And "mini-jauron" is PERFECT. He truly is a Jauron puppet. Sickening, isn't it?
  12. Maybe for you. But Keith Olberman is a complete tool as far as football is concerned. His depth of knowledge of the sport of football is about as pathetic as Costas' and it's embarassing. Just wait, they'll hire Joe Buck next...
  13. I agree, it's the HC and the QB who deserve most of the blame. Yes, the O-Line struggled against a VERY motivated pass rush today. But a couple quick screens and shotgun draw plays up the middle are all you EVER need to cool down a hot defense that's teeing off on your QB. AVP most assuredly knows this, as in the first game of the season, we did those things a LOT. Today, AVP's "Jauron-approved" game plan was embarrassing, and Trent doesn't have the nads or brains to audible into stuff that negate certain defenses. I hope he someday does. But today was a HUGE step backward for him, IMO.
  14. I don't think they have message boards all about themselves. And I agree, the media are acting like whores. Crack whores, from the looks of it.
  15. I do wonder why AVP didn't have TONS of screens called for this game, with those two DEs just bullying their way to Trent all game. Screens worked already this year VERY well. It seems to me that we have a TOTALLY different game plan every single week. Over-thinking type coaching. And my guess is, this was DJ, not AVP, who dictates that.
  16. Our no-huddle was run the absolute SLOWEST I've seen it all year. And AVP's game plan seems to have been VERY watered down, and I'm just going to say that I don't think that was HIS idea. Dick Jauron's PC kinda proves it, too, when he talks about how he wanted to "keep the game close." After three years of Jauron Ball, we should all know by now that what that means is, "I was scared of a blowout by the other team and did what I could to not lose by 40 points."
  17. Is that true? If so, that certainly IS interesting, IMO.
  18. Impeccable logic.
  19. Some posters truly believe that it's more noble to go down with the ship.
  20. Do you mean, when the choice was him or Lossman? Seriously??? But T.O. SHOULD be ready to blow up, he has every right to. You throw this guy a jump ball, he's coming down with it. How many of those have been even DRAWN UP for him so far? Looks like ZERO. Talk about a waste of talent.
