  1. WHAT would be a good move? T.O. for what? Some Santa Ana wind? I wish Mike Vick would just get hit by a bus already.
  2. Nah. Get the new coach hired now, and give him the rest of this season as extra time to evaluate his assistants and players before he has to make any decisions in the offseason. Screw the whole "interim" coach nonsense.
  3. I for one am done being angry at Dick Jauron. I mean, who of us wouldn't stick around as long as we were allowed to, to try to somehow figure out what would work? And who of us would turn down that kind of money, with children and families to support? No, he knows he's outmatched, sure, but if I were him, I'd be getting back to the drawing board, too, until the man whose job it is comes and tells me that I need to go home. Every day that Ralph leaves DJ in charge of this team is a day that he ruins DJ's spirit that much more. This is simply cruel on Ralph's part. Almost more cruel than the way he and Marv railroaded another bad coach, Mike Mularkey, out of town. The guy is a flipping bastard. If I could, I'd have my grandfather beat the **** out of him.
  4. It would not only be easier to stomach, but would actually give the new coach (NOT "interim" coach) the ability to evaluate his assistants and players in live game situations before it comes time to make personnel decisions, a chance that many head coaches don't get. It would give whoever comes in that extra time to deal with this extra-large mess. And Dick could retire into oblivion like he obviously wants to, as well. Win-Win-Win, in this poster's opinion.
  5. Then where's Bobby April? Because it's gonna be that dork, almost guaranteed.
  6. Not possible. At all.
  7. Now THAT would be worth the price of a hot dog or two.
  8. ...and if we wanna be honest, if the Pats had just held onto all those throws in the first half, they'd have killed us.
  9. In his own words in his latest 97 Rock Interview, Jim's too busy planning more trips to Africa and Alaska to blast away at endangered species to bother coaching a Fall League. Pretty sure he's not interested.
  10. I don't buy the argument that Dick's "hold" on the team is any worse off now than it ever was. He never really HAD a hold on things, far as I can see it. And it's his COACHES who are the ones floating around all willy-nilly, not necessarily the players. Schonert obviously got too high on his own freedom and became a voracious cancer, but look at Bobby April and AVP right now, they ain't too far behind Turk the Jerk. These two guys aren't even TRYING to be good coaches to their players, right now, and a Head Coach NEEDS his Assistants to be strong disciplinarians and teachers. This is quickly disintegrating on DJ, and I actually feel bad for him. He's a TERRIBLE leader of men, but his subordinates are obviously petulant little babies, themselves, and if any of THEM ever get handed a HC job, may Vince Lombardi roll over in his grave. Buncha wankers.
  11. That's easy. He never cared to begin with. Anyone who wants to argue that point is doing so out of pure emotion. No proof whatsoever that Ralph has EVER valued anything above the bottom-line.
  12. Never under-value a good martyr complex.
  13. Cool, another thread designed for me to say I TOLD YOU SO. I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. I'll cut the crap now.
  14. Why do you have to do that?
  15. You're obviously confusing Ralph with an owner who cares about what kind of product his season ticket holders get to watch. No Refunds means tough ****.
  16. I told you so. Old Ralphie proves me right again. I gotta admit, some of you almost had me thinking we'd actually see some ballsy move by the old **** today. But a leopard doesn't change it's spots, does he? When the end of the season comes, and the "Genius" Bobby April is named our new Head Coach, I wonder which big-name player Ralph will lure us all in with to buy another season's worth of circus tickets.
  17. Agreed. April spent the entire offseason, obviously, crying over the rule changes and NO TIME actually readying his men, because they are complete crap out there now, and after the McKelvin debacle, for Parrish to even THINK it was OK to go grabbing for that ball only means that April is doing NO coaching out there. For God's sake, he spent a helf an hour yelling at the refs for calling his Gunner for being downfield too soon, and they come back and "correct" the call, stating that, in fact, TWO of April's men were downfield too soon. The dude has LOST it. But the point is, how pissed could Ralph BE? It's 4:05 a.m. Monday morning, and nobody was even HINTED at being fired yesterday. If he fires anyone today, or this entire season, I'll be extremely surprised.
  18. The irony is that Toronto most certainly wants NO PART of this trainwreck.
  19. To put it in context for you, he was asked, "Trent, if you were a Bills fan would you Boo the team?" So, there. It wasn't an insult. It was a mamby-pamby reply, is all.
  20. Yeah whatever, Vic. I heard him say it, too. Said he thinks "there's a volcano brewing" in Buffalo. I'll believe it when I see it.
  21. Vic Carucci seems to think he's going to fire him, if you wanna take this radio interview he's doing with 97 Rock at face value. I still don't believe it.
