Bills to face the Panthers and...J.P.???
TheChimp replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice thread title. Like a bad used car salesman, you are. -
Anyone hear if the Bills plan to send film on
TheChimp replied to Steve O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want high schools to start using bigger fellas at QB, so we can start seeing some real giants at the position at the college level, then the NFL. I want more Jim Kelly's or BIGGER from now on. Not at all the point of this thread, I know, but hey, I'm a !@#$ing monkey. -
Fitzpatrick starting against Panthers?!
TheChimp replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too bad Trent ain't a Bills fan, as he'll be tuned into The Price is Right, instead. -
Even HE said so much when the rule came down and he was interviewed about it. Yes he did. Pretty sure he said that the Bills were the only team using the wedge.

I stand by my original prediction..
TheChimp replied to canbuffan34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, you know, Carolina looks like another team that could totally **** the bed and give us a zillion chances to win, despite ourselves. Awesome. We can climb our way right out of contention for a decent draft pick (without trading for it), and still miss the playoffs. Or hey, maybe nine more QBs we are slated to play can pull a Sanchez and we can barely pull out a victory in all of those games, get into the playoffs, and get beat 77-2 in the Wild Card game. Life is !@#$in' SAWEEEET! -
Bills Beat reporters...Ya I'm calling you out
TheChimp replied to NY Nole's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah...um, you almost had me, until this. Shame on you. -
Buffalo's soon to be new head coach
TheChimp replied to SWVABillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'd be maybe the only NCAA Head Coach I'd take, and yeah, in a heartbeat. I got to watch his team adjust to losing their starting QB against my Lobos and then go on to annihilate us with their backup, and I did like this guy's presence. But I'd much rather have a proven NFL HC. And there are plenty available. -

Are you crazy? That was a beheadding. Holy crap, even the announcers were shaking their heads that it wasn't called a penalty. For Trent to suffer a concussion without having his head hit the GROUND, you have to look back at the film and watch what that crazy mother!@#$er did to his head there. !@#$ing unreal. He was trying to decapitate him. -
why did Pats deactivate Adalius Thomas?
TheChimp replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Naw, it's because Seau agreed to take the roids and Thomas wouldn't. -
All T.O.'s detractors must be literally salivating at the way he's been cuckholded by this Bills team. The dude and his agent simply never prepared for such a conniving, sleazy owner, such a clown car-ish front office, and such a pathetic coaching staff that would combine to put forth a product that puts even their own players to sleep, year after miserable year. T.O. must feel like the only guy with a pulse in a Night of the Living Dead movie. And lately, he looks like he might have gotten bit.
-
Great, all this team has to hope for is every team we play to mentally takes the game off, and we can then slip into the playoffs, and then everybody with THAT as a goal finally gets to see how pathetic a goal it really was. Just imagine this club, with these coaches, in the playoffs. I puke a little thinking about it.

Yeah I think the call came in while the Bills were "changing their minds" about the Ring ceremony. This team is so full of crap it's not even funny anymore.

Give Parrish a ST coach who knows what to do without the use of the wedge blocking scheme, and he'll probably get two or three TD runbacks for his new team. Watch. April was a one-trick pony, and the evidence was obviously compelling enough for the league to change the rules, and look what his ST unit looks like with the wedge now illegal.

I have the worst base package DirecTV offers and have no ESPN, so I'm watching the game on ATDHE.net online or whatever, and they are keeping the mics on during commercial breaks and I'm listening to what the guys say to one another when they aren't on the air. It's kinda cool. They are pretty professional. They're constantly planning what they're gonna say next and looking at film and stats. OK, I stand corrected. John Gruden just told his cohorts, "I'll show you a wild horse. I'm gonna be a wild horse back at the hotel tonight." whatever that means...

Two concussions for Trent - does he finally switch helmets?
TheChimp replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, hopefully he switches to a Browns or Raiders helmet next season. -
That one example is nowhere near good enough, considering how badly both teams played and how atrociously both teams were managed.

Did we win it, or did the Jests lose this game?
TheChimp replied to Force_Majeur's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His QB throws us ducks all day long and you wanna blame their HC? Really? Look, our remaining games are ONLY winnable if the other teams make that many boneheaded plays, because we ALMOST lost that one, despite 6 INTs. We are terrible, no matter how you slice it. -
Will Trent Ever Start For The Bills Again?
TheChimp replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How long is Trent's contract? Because that's how long he will be our "starter", so long as Dickie J is here, anyway. As a side note, I hope that assface who ripped at his helmet and tried to kill him gets suspended. -
I just got over the H1N1. So did my GF. We both had symptoms that ranged from mild to medium for about three and a half weeks. 99% of the cases of flu, nationwide, being diagnosed right now are H1N1. Our symptoms weren't identical to one another's, either, and I found that weird. I had a stronger cough, and my fever spiked one night at 102 and I put myself on alert to go to the ER in case that lasted more than 24 hours, at the behest of the nurse's hotline I called. It only lasted overnight, maybe because I drank about a half gallon of water before I went to bed, I dunno. And that high fever that one night wasn't even accompanied by major body aches or headache, just sorta this weird grogginess and loopiness. Totally unlike any flu I've ever had before. My lungs never got full of "stuff", and the cough was only triggered by real deep breaths. The thing, I think, that's worrying people about this H1N1, aside from the hype being generated by our outlandishly uneducated media, is the way it affects the body's internal thermostat, making the body temp just shoot up at the drop of a hat to maybe 100-101, then go back down to normal, and making one's hands and feet super cold while your forehead registers a low fever, totally, totally bizarre. That and the immense fatigue. That's a doozy. Makes you feel like falling asleep while driving. Bad stuff. A friend's son DID have a really bad fever and strange neck stiffness that worried the doctors enough to get him a spinal tap to test for meningitis. It turned out negative, and eventually, his temp went down, but that was really worrisome for all. I would warn you that the doc WE saw when we went in to get my GF checked out told us something that seemed to not make alot of sense, but kind of explained why the deaths that are occurring from H1N1 are happening to supposedly healthy people. He said that the body, when it's in really good shape, produces a chemical when it's fighting off viruses, and ironically, the more in shape the body started off, the more of this chemical can be produced, and in HIS opinion (so far I have yet to corroborate this), this chemical is what has been responsible for messing with the organ systems and shutting them down in the RARE cases where this is happening. Just watch the fever, keep the nurse hotline phone number handy, and drink TONS of water, and try to relax and know that, although this H1N1 is hitting EVERYBODY (high communicability), it's symptoms are VERY mild (low mortality) in almost everyone.

I got it, I got it, here's what'll happen. We'll get the ball down to the Jets 7, run the clock down to 3 seconds, and line up for a FG. The snap will go right thru the holder's hands and the Jets will pick it up in stride and run it back for a 97-yard fumble return TD to win the game. Eh? Eh?

Like he knew where all the Jets receivers were that millisecond? I'd laugh if he decides "smartly" to let it drop and Bralon Edwards dives in and catches it.
