I still have the image burned in my brain from the last Toronto debacle. The camera pans across the crowd and finds this one group, one guy in a Chicago Bears jersey, two hot chicks in what looked like Indianapolis jerseys, a guy in a Bills home jersey with Edwards' number, and a dude right next to him with a Dolphins jersey and a Yankees cap on. The first time they panned to this little crew was when the Bills scored a FG. The whole bunch cheered. Then the Dolphins scored a TD and they panned to the same crew and they all cheered again. !@#$ Toronto.

Unfortunately, many people here WON'T understand how this "coaching search" was all smoke and mirrors, and will re-up their season tickets regardless of the outcome of this madness. Ralph sure picked the right city in his coin toss all those years ago. No way he knew what a goldmine this place would be for him, but still. Dude's an evil genius. But hey, for what it's worth, I'm excited to watch Perry Fewell's seven-week "interview" as he puts it. I would LOVE to see him force us all to take notice him in this search. And besides, I'm much more interested to see what happens when Ralph just "forgets" to hire a GM.

Right? Maybe Fewell should also let them go out and booze it up before the Superbowl, too. Yeah marv and his band of selfish !@#$s are a great example. You do remember they LOST all four in a row, right? GO PERRY!!

You know that really long handled tool thingy they use to cut branches off trees 50 feet up while standing on the ground? I don't know why, but that's all I could picture when I was reading that. First off, I'm not bashing the old fart in this thread, so much as I am asking why all the publicity is going to this "coach search", when hiring a coach THEN a GM seems disastrous to me. No, what this strikes me as, and the reason I started this thread, is that Ralph is just appeasing the masses by hiring another coach and opening up his cobweb-filled wallet to pay for it, but his Front Office, the REAL PROBLEM (as much as he, himself is the problem) will remain exactly the same as it is now, and thus nothing good will come of it. But the appeased masses will have already bought their season tix for next year by the time we all realize what happened. OK, so maybe I am bashing the old fart. He deserves it. He's a snake.

It's because, as you said, he's a midget. Hell, him not getting killed in his tenure in the NFL should warrant its own two-hour special.

And the name "Bills" is easily the most unuseable name for ANY other city besides Buffalo, which is why I could care less if the team gets moved, because the name will most certainly be left in Buffalo, ready for the next expansion. This is why I sometimes wish it would just happen, already. By the time I'm retired and ready to tailgate, the new Bills will be ready to play!

He's not addressing the team's most glaring need, in my opinion, and trying to find a GM to supplant the Keystone Cops in our FO. And THEN, when a GM is hired, we can then let HIM decide with Ralph who the best HC is. This whole "coach search" isn't happening the right way at all, IMO. But gosh, everybody's all excited, aren't they?

But why the hell do we want that? Didn't both of them SUCK when they had both jobs?

All this talk of a coach, but nothing about how old Ralphie promised a top-down cleaning and sorry, if we hire a coach FIRST, does that not HURT our chances to nab a really smart GM??

It's never Perry's boys that jump offsides or block in the back or below the knees or hold etc. etc. Today, AVP and his position coaches showed why THEY deserve alot more blame for the outcome of games than they get. TWO touchdowns called back because of stupid penalties by the offensive guys who really should know by now that this crap isn't going to be tolerated. I'm glad, in retrospect, that they picked Fewell to be interim HC. He is rusty and made some bad clock decisions, but that's probably what happens when you go from being in charge of one unit to the entire game and have five !@#$ing days to prepare. Also, I liked Poz's game alot, too. Florence and Corner, too. And the entire D-Line. And T.O. most of all.
