  2. B4L, I jus' wanna say: this is a brilliant kind of thread. you set the stage, and guys all go out there and do the work. they FIND these vids, they tell you how they feel, and everyone feels good. it's what this forum is all about, bro! ok then, 'nuff luv 4 da OP lol on to all the rest: don't even care what player you send up, the fact that you did means you rock. you are giving us what we want.. we wanna see it, feel it.. we want HOPE. and, we want to share our frustration with thousands of others who feel the same as we do. can life get any better? sure it can, but all this is one serious start. ok, then... it MUST be time for the season now.... guyzzz ??? ~AS

LOL super-fun game. proves me a GM addict. not sure how i feel about being "busted" like that. major Thx OP ! you're much more 2 us than just jerry lewis http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057372/ Love half the drafts above. what dreams are made of ~AS
  4. I like your style Kelly to me . I do not think the Kevin "cob" story has been written yet, if only because he played for a team without an offensive line the last 2 years, and actually won some games. Sure, he had Larry Fitz, but it's hard to find him laying on your ass.I was majorly hoping we'd pick him up, just because of one of my favourite dictums(dicta?): Pick up backs from teams without a line. Props to the OP for putting this up. Nixy doesn't PLAN to not draft a good QB in '13, good ole' jus' knows the odds is against 'im. Regarding this year, just the fact that KK is still in the league after what he's been thru earns him my support. Then when we find our new saviour, we have a veteran backup, just as it should be(except, of course, in Denver where I'm at). ~AS
  5. Marcus Easley would be a dead ringer for Maggie. [faceplant] Wait, make that the whole team! (so far...) ~AS
  6. Impressive work, aqueous one! Like other posters, I 2 am not sold on his "corduroy splatterskin" as an immediate starter. he's big, he's got wheels, and it could take him longer than it did moulds and stevie to crack the lineup(they needed 3 yrs ea.). In the 1st round it's common to seek more immediate gratification than that, and there are many other options that would seem more likely to achieve that, e.g. the more polished LB and OL players. (not that we have any needs at LB or OL) ... L-OL ~AS
  7. Hey yawl, With all due respec'... I dunno if this guy will ever be a player or not, but try to look at this: if kevin everett could do half that, would yawl be dissin' him like this? This bro bin thru a lot with that back. If u don' believe, just crack a vertebra or 2! The angle of femur/pelvis flexion is very heartening for me to see. At least it means he'll be able to play with his kids: huge reward for all that pain. Pro football? who knows. but who will deny the cat is TRYING. NOW.. tell me something in a person's character that beats givin' it your best shot. [insert retorts about how effort doesn't win championships here] <- I ain't got any. peace, out. ~AS
  8. Just for ref. guys: the tiebreaker for draft picks is NOT the same as for playoffs. Playoffs use head-to-head games, while draft order does not. As Randy elucidated above, for the draft they look at strength of schedule, in reverse: If your schedule was WEAKER, you get the earlier pick. I think many of the teams with the same record now had stronger schedules, and hard games ahead. So, if the Bills lose, expect them to pick Sixth. ~AS
  9. i just wanna thank all the ole timers (like me) for welcoming the new guy. he's got the spark he referenced himself. maybe the fans need that spark as much as the team. (soon we all may need CPR). but to recognize that in him, and offer admission into our long-suffering fanbase is pretty impressive; if serves to reinforce my pride in remaining a bills fan. the team may at times rather suck. but you guyz always "rock". (ok, i use that word a lot lol but i really mean it) ~AS
  10. no cap, you DO "get it", an that's what distinguishes you from some others. Rock on ! ~AS
  11. OMG... move him inside ! put levitra out at tackle where he belongs! when you have 2 guys who CAN play LT workiing together, that's a damn good sign. ~AS
  12. methinx the docta be TROOLLLin this thred LOL we get it doc, its all good. ~AS
  13. lol "donkey fanz"... im out here in lakewood, bro. i follow both teams now, but i can still name all the players on the bills. am excited about this year!

  14. I do like Brown as backup center, he's shown well in ltd. duty, and should have upside. That way you leave Urbik in place, and Rinehart can still spell the guards. Would be nice if Hairston came thru on the right, but Pears is playing as well as ever.(he actually had a successful stint as LT one year, here in Denver). yeh, so Pears could be the future swing tackle. Zebrie seems the likely candidate for 9th man, unless either Mt.Jasper or mr.Asper shows up big time. dunno if we can get Jasper thru waivers and back on the practice squad again.. jus' sayin'. ~AS
  15. yaaaay.... Nigel Bradass !! ~AS
  16. Busted. but your pipes don't have to crack for something like this to happen. now, maybe jon martin won't be there in the 2nd, but i don't think he's so far apart athletically from some other tackles, like potter, and stevenson for example. martin's thing is technique. has good feet, but not fabtastic, and he lacks a mean streak. i think he can play LT, but so can a couple of other guys likely to be taken after him. so, we could get our bigboy WR, LT, and OLB in the first 3 rounds. it's a good a guess as any. ~AS
  17. ok yawl, i gotta give props to the OP here ! I've watched cordy, and it looks like he may be the real deal. don't think he can just jump in on the left side yet, but he sure plays like a tackle. he can run block, has decent feet, and i would like to install arms like that on ALL our linemen ! i have nothing against decastro, it's hard to find anything, but... in a way we already have him. he seems like a stronger version of andy: a very athletic guard who may also be able to handle the tackle position, but why switch him? he does have shorter arms and i think that matters for longevity sometimes. but i'm glad our boys are taking a close look at glenn. floyd certainly has it all on paper. he tests well, has the production and all that. but when i watch him, he looks a bit stiff, and does not seem to get consistent separation. but like most everyone is saying, there are a lot of interesting receivers out there. i'm expecting a good one in the 3rd round. with mercilus... i'm kyna leery about drafting anyone named "whitney", and i'm not sure she can play linebacker, but we do need at least one of those. i would like to see a CB in the 2nd or 3rd, especially a ballhawk, now that may actually have a pass rush. josh robinson is an amazing athlete. so, i'm looking at four needs: tackle, receiver, corner and linebacker, and it seems the level of available depth will influence the order in which they are selected. i have faith in our old boys to handle that. now, if they take a RB or 225 lb lineman, ima call 911 immediately, if i can manage it. can't hardly wait for draft weekend! ~AS
  18. now what kyna meathead wrote tha... D'OH ! ~AS
  19. i dunno, rb... 10 to 3 is a pretty steep climb. just ask the redskins who had to surrender multiple appendages just to move from #6 to #2. Most likely it would require 3 consecutive 1st round picks. is kalil worth all that? (mckelvin and $3 will get you a gallon of gas in a trade). remember that anyone picked is just a prospect, nothing more. surefire stars from the past include robert gallery (he ended up at guard) and tony mandarich (did he ever actually play??). i HOPE i don't need to bring up #4 pick mike williams. finally, consider our past starters and how they got here: bell- 7th round pick. peters- undrafted. that may not be the best way to come up with left tackles, but consider the sebastian vollmers of the world. there may not be another kalil available this year, but i'm willing to bet that more than one other tackle in the draft will be successful in the nfl. the trick is to find him and coach him to his potential. i think the guys we have working in those areas can handle all that. i'd let andy fight it out with hairston this year, and draft a kid with half a brain(that would rule out another bell) and real potential(please, no more wangs!), someone like stephenson from OK, or potter from BS. i predict that we'll need all our draft pix next year. ~AS
  20. the man gave you a freakin' MOVIE for lord's sake. it's not even 3 minutes. if you're that strapt 4 time, czech it out from :44 to :50. i think that's what the OP was talkin' 'bout. (jus' sayin') ~AS
  21. aw c'mon kidz... most of them are either restricted, or they suck. beyond that, i count: byrd, andy, nelson & fred(whom we're already working on). 'believe the f.o. can handle that! ~AS
  22. the fact that you're concerned is great frank, that shows you're a dedicated fan. but the fact is, wannstache has been concerned about it for probably more than a year, and he's the one who has a chance to do anything about it. don't forget to revel in the facts of what happened today, and enjoy your fandom. after all our suffering, don't we all deserve as much ?? cheers, ~AS
  23. HOUSE-freakin'-Ballard ! come on ! ~AS
