  1. What info would you use to prove your point? Not like it will matter, I have seen every game of both of their careers. One is much better than the other.
  2. Lets move KW to ILB. He would be pretty good I bet. Or even OLB. Better than Kelsay no doubt.
  3. Dang, I wanted them to get Orton. We suck.
  4. I'm astonished. You mean a Bills coaching staff that realized one player is far superior to the other? And they are going to stick with the far superior player!?!?! Now thats something new. Now where was I, o yes, Kelsay.....
  5. Rocky McIntosh from Wash is very good, but maybe not a 3-4 guy. He played a lot for them, but Wash let him go so I assume he is more of a 4-3 guy. I sitll like Bradley Stweart or Stewart Bradley from Philly. Hes a pretty good dude too.
  6. The real reason they will sign him is his kick return ability - duh! If only we could return kicks on Offense! Spiller, Parrish, McGee, Jackson, McKelvin, Smith, and now Cromartie!!!!
  7. So its exactly what I and many many others have been saying for years. To get players in Buffalo, you need to pay them more than the Giants/Cowboys/Patriots/Dolphins/Falcons would. Everything in life is relative. If the Bills need to pay 20% more to land the same player as say, Atlanta or Miami, then they are NOT overpaying for that player. Thats simply the going rate for that player in our market. Dont forget, our 8% state tax compared to 0% in FL and 5.5% (i think) in GA puts us at a disadvantage from day one. We need to offer a player 8% more than Miami to compete on an even playing field, then factor in weather, night life, we have sucked for ten years, etc. On the surface, it appears we are going bargain hunting. That may work in one of the aforementioned cities. but not in Buffalo. We need to knock some peoples socks off if we want to sign them.
  8. Another seriously questionable move by the routinely questionable Bills. COnsidering their recent success, I wouldnt worry about it though
  9. 1st round pick v. UDFA rookie. P Fewell promptly demoted Whitner when he took over. This is often overlooked because Whitner happened to get injured for a few games during the same span. Despite teams rarely passing on us, Whitner still managed to be the target of many a TD pass. Our pass D was much better with Wilson in and not Whitner these last two years. Dont hate the messanger.
  10. Its comforting to know our entire team is built around gimmick players when we cant run a HB dive or stop the run.
  11. I never got a text - is this true? I wonder why its all guaranteed? Is that part of the new rookie cap? Makes sense if it is...
  12. Zach Miller, Matt Speath, Abreyu Franklin, Cullen Jenkins, Justin Blalock, and Stewart Bradley (or one of the other ILBs)
  13. No. G Wilson is much better. If Whitner is on the team, he will find his way onto the field and be a huge liabilty when the other team desides to pass. We are better off without him and GW out there.
  14. Call me crazy but I still think we need some OG help. That allows Wood to stay put at C. You would be suprised how a good interior will help us. i agree out RTs suckdonkeynuts though.
  15. Hopefully he is better than the Bills think he is. He should be starting by the second preseason game considering his current competion. Luckily its not rare for Olineman to play like season vets right away..... Heres hoping.
  16. Emmanuel Moody should be a guy to watch. Very intelligent decisive runner. Could be very productive in Gailey's spread out system. Florida guys also tend to adjust very well to the NFL. I expect him to make the team, seems like it will be between him, our guy from UNC we drafted, the the Nevada kid for the 3rd RB spot.
  17. Maybe Gailey wants to run some option offense like the Jets did to us in the second game (remember they marched right down the field on the first drive and scored a TD. I don’t think they attempted 1 pass on the drive). Option offense would be sweet. May even make this season watchable.
  18. Dont they have a summer intern that could negotiate the rookie contracts? "Hmmm Dareus, I see you were drafted 3rd overall. This chart tells me you get 4 yrs, with a 5th year option, and 20 million dollars. Please sign here, then I can give you a play book and a tour of the facilities"
  19. Well thats what happens I guess. I personally think Poz is well worth what he got in Jax, but Whitner would be overpaid at that contract. Some poster may say the opposite. O well, the only constant is the Bills always make the wrong move.....
  20. Well the plan certaintly isnt 'build the ebst team we can to try and win....'
  21. There are a lot of good players on that list, and some more not on it I could think of. We really have the cap room to go after anyone we want.
  22. Cinci doesn’t even have an indoor practice facility. They are the only team in the NFL without one. For comparison, there are multiple high school teams in Cincinnati that have indoor facilities.
  23. When does FA officailly start?
  24. OK, I get the build through the draft idea, that has obviously worked for the Steelers and Packers. BUT, the new CBA requires the Bills to spend over 30 mil to get to the salary floor! That’s minimum!!! Who on God’s green earth are they going to sign to get to that minimum? More Cornel Green’s and D’wan Edwards? You could sign 22 Cornel Greens and D’wan Edwards for 30 mil. We honestly have no choice but to make some big splashes. The Packers and Steelers have drafted well enough where they can splash on their own players, the Bills need to splash on other teams players! We should sign 4-5 starters with that 30 mil and call it a day!
  25. Reports are that Herzlich is a Giant. I guess he tweeted it.
