SJ is 6'3'' Nelson is 6'5''. Both are fairly skinny though. I thought SJ was good at it last year though.

Why would we trade for a TE when we showed no interest in the FA TEs? Its not like Boss was snapped right up and got a huge deal... and Oakland is one of the few teams worse than Buffalo in terms of luring FAs (money aside).

Or they could just be happy he went to the 9ers? They lucked out and dont even know it! Those clips are funny. I never really thought he was great in run support. I know he had tons of tackles, but our D sucks, so that makes sense. And the Bills are notorious for giving out too many tackles.

You guys may not be that far off. Maybe someone can find the link, but there was an article about Mays before the draft where the reporter said he had talked to scouts with multiple 3-4 teams, and all the scouts were grading him as a 3-4 OLB. Not a terrible idea with his size I guess, seems like a stretch though. He started almost half the season last year, so there should be decent tape on him. What I remember from last season was his great play on special teams, so he has value there too. Considering most late round picks end up only ST guys anyways, he may be worth a 5th or so. Whether its OLB, S, or just STs…. He can’t be any worse than Maybin.

Tebows throwing motion is a lot like Brett Favres, except Farve just let the ball dangle at his waist, where Tebow holds it up by his ear. That makes his release a little bit slower, but give him better ball security. They both have cannons which can help make up for the wind up. Its a lot like Montana's too. Its funny this debate comes up four months after Cam Newton went #1 overall. And people think Tebow went too high in the draft?

I'm only 24, so I have only been following the team for 8-10 yeaers. Every single offseason, I have thought to myself "man, they need to improve the OL" Still waiting for them to finish.....

Guys, this crap happens every year. Kelsay playing OLB in 2010 (and 2011), Jabari Greer, Fred Jackson, Jim Leonard, the list goes on and on. I think its our scouts fault (they scout our team during camp/season and give their reports to the coach staff) We cannot scout in the draft and we cannot scout our own team. We draft corners to play safety, safeties to play LB, WRs to play Safety. We let our good players leave and resign our bad players to ridiculous contracts. We have hit on a few of those but honestly look at how weak our roster has been the last ten years - we cannot evaluate talent in any facet. I think the scouts are chirping in everyones ear that they think he is an ILB and thats where he is. There is no sense behind it (just like the Maybin pick and many others)

The first pick in the draft will be Luck regardless of who is picking there.

I think we split with Miami, beat the Raiders, Titans, and Bungals, but lose to the Skins in Toronto (if it werent in Toronto we would likely beat them). I'll then give us 1 unpredictable win for goo measure. Thats 5 wins. Under.
