  1. Only if he wants to play WR. 6'5", 230#s, 4.4 speed, and he had a sick jump ball catch as a frosh in their bowl game. He looks like Calvin Johnson just hope he can be half as good and its a winner. And Im sure less than a 3rd would do. Maybe 5-8 teams are going to consider this kid at all. Im also interested in that Tackle if he is any good (i have no idea)
  2. So I read the first 18 pages of this thread, and the most reliable links sent me to pixyland. Has there been any kind of credible info released on this? Guy at work just sent me this, sounds overblown by someone who witnessed something at the border http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/08/19/merriman-case-is-closed-before-it-was-even-opened/
  3. I think he was getting at Bulaga (Spiller) and maybe Oher (Maybin). Going back farther Im sure there are other examples.
  4. Chan Gailey is building a college spread offense in teh NFL. He wanted Tebow then Newton. My guess is they make a play for Pryor if he is allowed in. I think thats a mistake (unless they want to try him at WR)
  5. Anyones who has been to a Chinese Buffet has taken dumps bigger than Maybin
  6. The real question is why they didnt fix the OL in 2009
  7. Thanks guys. I can still think back and remember how chastised I was for criticizing that pick that year. I mean hell, East Roch Bills fan STILL hates me for being so negative! In hindsight, I was actually being positive lol. And I will never get over Orakpo, he was my #1 player I am still waiting for my big break into scouting lol.
  8. I am a huge U fan after that 30 for 30 documentary. They are sweet! Too bad they were caught. I wonder why this guy is spilling the beans? Like wouldnt you have to be a die hard fan to do that for a school? And he isnt even a woman!
  9. I know he is cut but he looks more like a model than a football player.
  10. Im thinking Levitre is at RG, RT, or even LT. Thats if Rhinehart is at LG. Levitre has been decently solid in his career. Urbik has been bad. But its the bills...
  11. yea they are basically in the same alignment they closed out the year in last year. Im not sure what to call it really. 4-3 over, 5-2, 3-4. seems to be a real hybrid. I thought it worked good for us last year though, thats when we were at our best.
  12. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Levi Brown, those two RBs we signed that barely played. 1 or two of the WRs.
  13. I tend to be viewed as one of the more-negative people around, and I completely agree with you. We finally has a good DL. KW is all pro. Dareus will likely be just as good as KW if not better. Merriman may be back to all pro (I include the rush LB in a 34 as a Dlman because they rush 90% of the time). Carrington looks big and strong. Edwards is no slouch. Troup, Jasper, Heard are all 330+. Our D is now a strength. Our OL is terrible, but we are two good players away really. I just wish they had addressed it already.
  14. Kelsay or Maybin?
  15. Chandler would make a really nice second string TE on a playoff team. Or a good starter on teh bills
  16. They did it to consue the fans as one of them fumbles the kickoff
  17. Why wait till first cut day? There is some undrafted rookie out there who is much better than Maybin who we can bring in right now and get a look at. There is no reason to keep Maybin. He is the worst player on our entire 90 man roster. I bet they keep him though, our terrible FO may still think he is good!
  18. He cant be any worse than Kelsay. If not for the Kelsay love fest he or Carrington or both could replace Kelsay at practice tomorrow and improve our D.
  19. I thought he had a great rookie year in limited action. I was very suprised he didnt play a lot more when Edwards went down. In fact, Edwards went down in the Steeler game and Carrington came right in and had a good QB pressure and a sack on back to back plays. Im expecting a lot from Carrington. Troup, not so much
  20. The OL will hold this team back. Worst unit on the team.
  21. I'm not sure what you mean, but squeezing the play inside is keeping contain.
  22. Yea I know that very well. The thing is, Kelsay never makes the play without making a tackle. He is the one over pursuing, he is the one not drawing a double team, he is the one who cannot contain a play. These have been his problems since the day he was drafted. All that said his second half of last season was by far and away the best he has ever played. He was actually OK last night too. He almost had a good pressure but got pancaked before getting there on Merrimans 2nd sack. He was easily pushed past the QB on Merrimans first sack too. he was handled fairly easily by a rookie from Wisconsin. If no one else noticed Kelsay played with his hand down last night. I dont think I saw him stand up once. From how we were aligned, I still think he had the responsibilities of a LB though. After seeing Carrington play with the twos, and a few plays where he was standing up, I think Carrington is Kelsays replacement, unless we go to a more traditional 34.
  23. Refer them to maybin please.
  24. Jasper is my new favorite player. I need his jersay ASAP.
