  1. No way dude I am Jaspers #1 fan, I dibbs it.
  2. *and be a top-notch towel boy for the real NFL players. (He isnt qualified for water boy)
  3. I still dont get why they only telivise 3 games each sunday afternoon. It should be 4. More games = more money. Silly NFL!
  4. best isnt the main back. But my guess is the Bills player is going to ebat the non bills player by a 4/1 margin in almost every pole you put out there.
  5. The titans shoulda traded him to the Bills to [try and] run behind our OL. That would be a great punishment!
  6. I agree - hasnt he been hurt and not played much? He could be a PS canidate with limited exposure. Same with Eddins if we choose. I would hate to see Moats get cut, he will go on to success on another team no doubt. Add him to the 'Greer' list.
  7. I dont know, he never seemed very athletic to me. He doesnt fit his body, almost like an awkward 8th grader that has grown like crazy but is coordinated to his body yet. he isnt nearly as bad as Hardy was though. i doubt he even has success in the CFL. My guess is teh lighter/quicker O lineman are going to be an even worse nightmare for Maybin Mayhem
  8. It is so insane to me, that we can pay a gimmick player like Brad Smith 4 mil a year to come here, can pay a seldom-used slot reciever another couple million, but wont pony up the dough for a RT who is going to play EVERY OFFENSIVE SNAP. With the offer they made Clabo, they shoulda tacked on the money they gave to Brad Smith and blew his socks off with their offer to have him come play here. Hell throw in Parrish's and kelsay's contract ammounts too. We would be a better team.
  9. Fitz is better than 27 but at the same time I would love to get Luck on this team. NO he is that teacher from South Park. MMMkkaaayyyyy???
  10. This is the same idiot who thought he should be ROY over Matt Ryan. If I am the Titans GM: "4 yrs, 20 mil. Take it or retire Chris."
  11. It was leaked before teh draft that hairston was highly touted by the Bills staff. They have been known to have success with late round guys. I hope Hairston can take over the STARTING tackle job, on either side. Glad that he and Shep will get some PT.
  12. Thats Fitz's achilles heal, and also the main reason people still talk about drafting a new QB. What the stats dont tell you is how untimely he throws his picks too (think Balt and KC). That makes them that much more painful. Hoping he gets better. As with every QB in the history of the forward pass, a better OL would cut down on these turnovers. However sometimes balls just seem to get away from him, and hit the other teams DB square in the chest.
  13. Their weather is also nicer, much more comfortable. And that no state taxes thing is nice.
  14. Dareus = DROY Jasper makes the HOF, this year Unfortunately I could also see Fitz getting injured and missing some significant time with our OL I am still laughing
  15. yes, but they havent moved him back either. I didnt mean they dont count at all. I mean we have two seperate and distinct OLB roles. One is Merriman/Batten which is a prototypical 34 OLB role, the other is the Kelsay/Carrington role which is really like a 4-3 DE from what I have seen. If Merriman and Batten go down, we only have Coleman at th one OLB position. Its not like Kelsay is going to play in that role(I suppose Carrington might, but then we only have kelsay in the other role, so we are short there). Considering we have shown that we are OK with pulling Kelsay/Carrington out and going with Merriman and Batten both(or Coleman) at the ends on passing downs, that is not a lot of depth (only 3 players when it will not be a rare thing to have 2 on the field at once) Or conversly, if say Kelsay goes down, are we expecting Carrington to play every snap? My guess is we would shift to a more conventional 34, and thus need more conventional 34 OLBs (which moats could be) Besides, how come we need more depth at ILB and not OLB? We have 5 guys at each position already (actually, we have 6 at ILB because I forgot to count Hicks in my original count). The "we need depth at ILB" excuse for moving him doesnt make sense.
  16. Levitre/Wood/Gurode makes out interior pretty good and fairly deep. Rhinehart/Gurode/Urbik as the backups. I know its not the common belief among fans, and likely not amongst FO people, but I believe the interior three are more inportant that the two tackles. 1) QBs need to be able to step up in the pocket to avoid the inevitable outside rush. 2) 90% of all run plays are between the tackles. 3) Look at all the 'final four' teams in the playoffs the last 5 years. Not all of them have great tackles, heck msot dont. But ALL of them have one or [more often] two PB caliber interior lineman.
  17. How much money does this save them if they just tagged him every season? Thats a huge contract.
  18. With all due respect, they both suck at RG. Im not going to argue who would suck less.
  19. If they cut him he will end up on the patsies or Jest and blow up D Bell 5 times in our two games for sacks lol. As I stated above in my other post, I dont think that is a credible reason when you look at who we have on the roster.
  20. Hes prob just not a b*tch and doesnt care if he has a boo-boo. There are a number of injuries that dont get worse if you play on them. One would be the charlie horse he has in his calf.
  21. The move to the inside makes no sense to me at all. Inside we have Barnett, Davis, Morrison(formerly torbor), Shpperad, White, and now Moats. how many ILBs do we need? Outside we have: Merriman (big time injury risk factor should be considered with him), Batten, and Coleman, then you have Carrington and Kelsay who are really in more of a DE role but are listed as OLBs on the roster. That gives us 5 ILBs, 5 OLBs (really two are DEs), and Moats. We could either have 6 ILBs or 6 OLBs. I dont think depth is a good reason to move him inside. Considering Moats was good enough to start over Coleman LAST SEASON, I have a hard time believing he wouldnt be better than him this season too. My numbers say we have 3 true 34 OLBs on the roster, and Moats is what, 5th or 6th on the depth chart at ILB? wtf? Not to mention he has played much better outside than in when given the change.
  22. Well at least he ahs experience there. I doubt he goes from a PB C to a below average G. he could be very good for us. Parting with Gurode, who has also played guard in the NFL, saves Dallas $5.5 million in cap money. NFL rosters league-wide must be reduced to 80 players by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2011/08/cowboys-release-pro-bowl-c-andre-gurode/1
  23. From what I saw on Sat night, Jasper was the 2nd string NG. KW and Dareus seemed to rotate between DE and NG, with KW playing there more often. But when the twos came in, I saw Jasper at NG and Troup at DE to start, then Jasper came out (needing a breather) and Troup went to NG. Then a few snaps later Jasper came back in and Troupe came out. Obvoiusly we are playing guys at multiple spots, but it looks like we will keep 3 NGs on the roster, with Troup and KW being able to play DE and doing it fairly often
  24. Why couldnt we sign him and move him to G? The guy has been to 4 straight PBs and at 32 he isnt very old for an interior lineman. B Waters is 35 and played very well the past 3-4 seasons. Besides, Chan cant be too happy with Levitre if he is trying to supplant him with Rhinehart, and IMO Urbik has looked worse. I'll take gurode for 3 years, that gives us 3 years to draft another stud G to supplant him, and not some mediocre guy we hope and can his own.
