My reading comprehension is just fine - how is yours? They started Edwards last season. Why didnt they ditch him in the offseason? The Bills are a day late and a dollar short every year. And I gave you Maybin. That seems to be the one time they were proactive in their cutting/having him a healthy scratch. However, they could have cut him after last year and given another undrafted guy (like Eddins) a chance to make the roster. You knew Maybin wasnt going to make it so why waste your time.

This is the guy who was a late addition to the Sr bowl, and when he came in he was crushing people blocking. Not much of a reciever they say. Its cool Yeatman made their team. He was at ND playing lacrosse and football but got a DUI for driving on campus roads designed only for pedestrians at like 4am. He ended up transfering to Maryland and only played lacrosse. I think he only played one fall semester of football in college.

dont teams normally carry 8? That 7 really only has to get them through 1 game. if three guys go down the are sckrewed though. Teams suck when they cant block.

It should not be Hangman. He was bad as a starter (rfanked 32nd in the league by one online publication, forget which one) and worse this year playing v the twos. I saw him get straight up planted on his ass V Detriot. I knew he was going to get cut. I also dont know why people are suprised we cut Levi Brown. He was cut last year! then, no other team picked him up, and he wasnt even put on the practice squad! We only took him back because he knew our system after we ditched Trent. Like 'camp fooder' or he was 'season fodder' lol I also dont get the idea fo drafting a late round CB (Rodgers) to replace another late round CB (Corner). Corner was OK and higher on the depth chart all pre season. Why not spend a 7th on a LB or OT that could one day play for us. I'd say Coleman for sure. Considering how much PT he got with the ones/twos. He even played well I thought. Suprised they played him over a guy like Moats who I didnt even see on the field much (I am suprised they didnt leave moats outside though)

I would have to think a McGee trade would be the answer. There is not reason other than salary dump to ditch him when we have worse players to get rid of. I dont believe the rumors that hughes is going to get cut, but I do believe he is playing the wrong position (34 OLB not 4-3 DE).

It honestly cannot be that hard to find a longsnapper that is also a DE or LB. That gives you an extra roster spot. I wonder why teams dont do that.

I read your thread, I am so jealous. My plan to get a jasper jersey was to heckle him from the stands, asking for his jersey, at teh end of the Jax game. But my friends left at the end of the 3rd and I went with them. I'll never get my Jersey :_(

I think you only watched Jasper after he tires (which is like 2-3 plays lol). But when he first comes off the bench, or for a new series, he is very strong and gets a very good push. He had a great push/QB pressure which resulted in A Williams INT v Chicago. From what I saw in the Jax game, he was the 2nd string NG. Jax doubled him on every play I noticed. I think he makes the team as a short yardage guy. Troup they keep for DE and NG. And FWIW I watched Jasper at practice, doing bag drills and such. He moves like a 250#er, not a 400#er. The dude is a freak. He needs some techinique, but [lack of] conditioning I think is his major obstacle. I got so tired of us passing on all the guys who everyone and their mother just KNEW were perenial pro bowlers for the bustswe actually drafted. Its great to finally draft a guy who from his first practice is one of the best players on the team. God knows we have passed over they for years.

I was yelling 'Gronkowski! Gronkowski!' Chen doesnt like his TEs it seems. Lamarr Houston or B Spikes were both good and other options. O well, hes beter than Spiller.
