  1. No he didn’t. We don’t need Coleman. We have a few guys just like him.
  2. At some point it’s scheme and not just talent
  3. Just draft BPA. We focused on WR and ended up with Coleman, but we’d be a better team if we took that dejean guy, who was very highly rated
  4. Also better coverage. You need tight initial coverage to allow your pressure to get home.
  5. Him and Garrett would be nice
  6. We need to draft BPA. Eagles are destroying our arch nemesis and doing it with drafted players who were known studs and passed on by other teams for unknown reasons
  7. It’s a fake relationship for publicity
  8. Am I the only one who noticed Allen stepping back at first, or a hesitation, and then trying to sneak forward? On his first two, maybe three attempts, he did it. And it failed. And as another poster said, there was no tushy pushy on those delayed sneaks.
  9. I dont fault him for not trading up, but I would have liked him to take up one of those trade down offers. In the draft I'd rather shoot with a scatter gun than a sniper rifle. But considering how many good players fall into the 20s and the 2nd and 3rd every year, and considering how well buddy did in those round alst year. Id have liked to get more picks out of the 10th pick. Seeing Decastro slide to 24, Kirkpatrick slide to [i think] 17, having Upshaw, Fleener, and Glenn still available along with a slew of WRs. I always like the idea of moving back and adding some picks, then maybe moving up again with those picks or just sitting back. The Rams are sitting pretty right about now.
  10. If you look back in hindsight, Buddy spelled out pretty clearly who he was going to take in 2010 and 2011(Spiller/Dareus). If I take these comments with that in mind - its going to be a CB, likely Gilmore as Kalil (the two guy he would love to have, along with a second and third in Claibounre and Blackmon) is gone.
  11. I have seen Streeter sparingly and was always pretty impressed. He always seemed to be three or four steps past his man flying downfield. His Combine numbers suprised me too. I never really saw him compete for jump balls or go over the middle, because I didn't watch him much at all, he may have, idk. How complete is he? Could be a steal.
  12. GW was being mentioned as a DPOY candidate last year before his injury and the teams skid. He has been playing like a top 5 safety for the last few seasons. Florence, whatever you want to say about him, is our best CB. D Edwards is still productive and is likely our 3rd DT. Kelsay is a starter, had his best two season his last two season, and he has nudie pics of Ralph. Johnson is the only one I see getting cut. PS How did McKelvin not make this list? Troup too, although I have no idea how much he makes.
  13. In his rookie year I saw the Texans using him as the strong side end. Some teams don’t use a strictly right/left for their DL and LBs, the offensive formation will dictate which side of the line they play. This more common for LBs and the interior players, less common in the NFL for Des to flop sides I have noticed.
  14. You guys seem to be forgetting that Moats played SAM LB in the last half of 2010 (his rookie year) after the Bills went back to primarily playing a 4-3. I thought he played very well there and ESPN even did a short piece on him being an up-and-coming player that they thought would really start to produce. Then the Bills went to a 3-4 [again] and moved Moats inside for reasons no one can fathom, before moving him back outside where he played well again. I think he will be just fine as a strong side backer who can also rush on passing downs. Merriman will be a DE – I heard that reported anyways. I doubt the Bills rely on him full time, he will be in pass rushing sub packages is my guess. But, he also played very well at LB last year when we used 4 down lineman. He could play either position depending on where the team needs him. Batten will be an end. Barnett/Shep/Merriman/Moats/Morrison/White – the Bills are pretty good numbers wise. Besides, the nickel CB is on the field more often than the 3rd LB, and we like to use a 3rd safety in lieu of a 3rd LB a lot too. You don’t need three good LBs these days.
  15. did they ask him what # he was going to wear?
