  1. I love it when people believe money means nothing and overpaid players should just clean locker rooms after the game! I am giving him 2 full seasons and 3 training camps. I didn't even say he needed to be great! But, he needs to play at a much higher level OR he is a rip off and I will spend the money elsewhere.
  2. Sure there is more to the story, but I had to let you do that for me! Personally, I think Kelly gets the job as a rookie and Ferguson is traded.
  3. Absolutely true, I agree
  4. It wasn't about money with Jim Kelly, he cried on draft day 1983. He signed where he wanted to play Houston.
  5. I am an old Bills fan, been a season ticket holder before most of you were born 1967. I am from the Jack Kemp Rockpile Era. Season tickets were $55 or 5.50 per seat on the 30 yard line. There is a key to Ralph Wilson that escape most people. Ralph WILL spent the money IF he has something to build around. Jack Kemp, O.J. Simpson, Jim Kelly. I remember it well, Jim Kelly was playing in the U.S.F.L. and finally the league folded, Jim Kelly had few options. It was Buffalo or force a trade. I was at the stadium and my buddies were used to the cheapness. Actually the cheapness was the blunt of weekly jokes. Kelly signs, and Buffalo starts throwing ALL KINDS of Money on players. When Buffalo traded for Cornelius Bennett, we thought Ralph had gone mad. He did the same thing with O.J. Simpson and on a smaller scale, Jack Kemp. Spiller may be the key IF he becomes a SUPERSTAR, if not,WE NEED THAT ELITE QUARTERBACK then the money will flow, trust me! DIEHARD 1967
  6. THIS IS GREAT, I FEEL LESS CONFINED, WONDERFUL JOB
  7. I am not angry with the selection, we just need to see something soon!
  8. I have my own time frame with Maybin but yours may be different. At some point YOU have to cut your losses and move on........... Personally, I give him this season and perhaps one more preseason to drastically improve, after that, SEE YA! I am all for patience, but we need more from a #1 draft pick. It's money vs production There is no right or wrong answer with a time frame to cut ties, it depends on your patience level. Your opinion is important to me and I respect your thoughts on the matter. GO BILLS! -DIEHARD 1967
  9. Worked well in the Superbowl years. This is just a general thrend
  10. You know guys, this is about my 15th head coaching change in 45 years. There is one thing that I think is worth mentioning here. A fast start is the key. Win a few games early and the sky is the limit. Lose, the players question the coaching, the draft, the GM and they slip into a season long coma. Somehow we need to beat those freakin Dolphins! -Diehard 1967
  11. You know, the hype on his arrival is the biggest joke in Buffalo. The guy is Buffalo's 3rd string Running back, he doesn't want to be here, yet every fan wants to know where the hell he is? Who cares?
  12. First of all Tim Tebow will never see the 2nd round. Some GM will gamble and take him in the last few picks of the first round. It will be a huge gamble yet some teams do not have a lot of holes to fill and they can afford the selection without damaging the franchise. Buffalo is not one of those teams
  13. Reminds me of London Fletcher
  14. Sometimes the bag is so heavy, he can't even pick it up.
  15. Go back to the link in this thread and click on sports, there are several
  16. Its hard to believe some of these guys were #1.
