I have a question for you......... Who was the last head coach's fined for flipping the ENTIRE STADIUM the bird? There were 2, 1970s and 1990's and neither team was at home. Truth is NOBODY on this board OR around the NFL has any information on Buddy Nix as a GM Buffalo has $$$$, The coaching staff is stuck with Jauron Era players, and some will most likely be gone! Anything can happen.

New coach is a much better coach. What is new about a 3-4? The final 53 will add that space eater. Unproven means very little if ONE can play Your reasons sound like an excuse for not doing your homework. Yes,I need more reasons.............these are speculation only

I spent the afternoon today looking for a quote I saw a few years back when Chan Gailey was in Dallas. I have no starters on this team,just a team of 2nd string players looking for a chance to start one game. We will evaluated these players every week and play the hardest workers. You want to start.........show me!

AT THIS POINT,I would not change anything! And, I have more patience then anyone on this board. I still think Maybin has a chance!

I have to admit I was never a Marv Levy fan, he was more of a motivator then a coach. I like straight talkers, this seems to be the guy! If we suck say so. We all know we need to get better.

We saw the off season, press conferences and training camp but we have yet to witness how he handles missed assignments,lazy players,what happens after a loss. My guess is,he may be one angry coach and I hope so! Happy losers drive me crazy!!!

I know what your thinking. You think I love Gailey because he blasted a few teenage fans.I did find that funny,but that was just an indicator of how the best coaches protect their players. Its not the outburst at training camp! Actually, its the attention to detail, the handling of the press. Elimination of the good ol boy easy training camps. He is straight forward, the players respect him and he is a man with a plan. The confrontation with fans was the work of a coach that is clearly in control of his team and outside distractions no matter how small aggravate and annoy any self respecting coach. Blasting a few fans might be the most important clue of the off season, Buffalo fans love this stuff. Bill Parcells did something similar in Miami in 2008 when he blasted a few local writers for their impatience. Parcells waived a few locker room problems and the players responded with a united team. I saw some negative comments on the Bills main board and you know what, some said they hated Dick Jauron because he was a corpse. Well this guy is alive so don't complain. Seems like everyone is searching for the perfect coach and guess what? There is no perfect coach! Who was the last head coach in Buffalo that took control of the entire team, press and fans? Nothing against Marv Levy but the answer is Lou Saban & Chuck Knox. Now, you are probably thinking that wins and losses will determine his future in Buffalo. Well, if we keep changing head coaches there will be no winning, just a pile of dust and a continuous rebuilding process. Sorry, I have seen enough to know a good coach when I see one. I believe Gailey is finally the guy! This is a slightly below average talent team, how he handles the season and players is the final test on his future in Buffalo. So far, I am impressed. Step 2 will be to place his team in the position to beat the Dolphins. Step 3 is half time adjustments and benching a few lazy players. The best coaches in the league are not politicians or wonderful human beings , they coach football and you better not get in their way! Here's what I think......... Its an evaluation process, you don't just step in and waive players after watching film, you evaluate in training camp and preseason. Now, if you can upgrade, you draft, trade,claim then develop. When the roster is trimmed to 53 you have a lot of talent available and you grab the best to fit your needs but you continue to Upgrade. Next year you draft, go to camp...... then do the same. You don't need a lot of money, just need to be smart. Contracts will come later!

Keep in mind Buffalo is #10 and no real team for over 10 years. The teams 1-9 were much better teams with the exception of Houston

Look guys you have to love this guy, Lou Saban was the same way! When was the last time a coach stood up to the fans? Personally, I think we are moving in the right dirrection. The players are going to rally behind a coach like that....trust me, been there! Dick Jauron would have smiled and said, well the fans were a little noisy today.

This main issue is guaranteed Rookie contracts. Bigger market teams sharing revenue. I think there will be a season as long has both sides can objectively solve some lingering problems.

His problem was....... he is a top 10 special teams player, but a below average safety. It all depends on the next few games, but Wendling has been seen around camp, not once but twice! Could be just visiting, but perhaps not!
