  1. How exactly do you mark words?
  2. I believe the the situation is better then the years of the past. We simply do not have a ton of holes to fill
  3. I believe we will get the players and new Head coach. We can come back strong next year. We need to get past this year, and regroup
  4. Go ahead and voice your frustration, I don't blame you one bit! I can assure you that some fans are over reacting to a bad situation with a lame duck head coach and a seriously unmotivated team. Just a few positive words of encouragement.... Most of you loved the talent level before the season, and nothing has really changed, we just don't play well. A new , quality, experienced, head coach will love to coach this team, because we don't need a rebuilding project and the team is much better then our record. New Coaches love to step in and be hero's. We fire the coach, hire an experienced guy and move on! We have premium draft picks that can be traded, and upgrades can fix a few problems. Sure the season is a total bust, but the problems are not unrepairable and remain fairly simple. I have been a Bills season ticket holder for 41 years and fixing this mess is not that difficult! We idenitify problems, fix them, and come back next year. The only real problem I have personally is, I have to watch this mess for 3 more weeks. -Die Hard 1967
  5. We need a powerful GM that can fix problems and make adjustments at every level He needs to be a respected GM within NFL circles If I had a choice I would probably offer Mike Holmgren the job Many experts believe he will be a better GM then coach
  6. I think you will be surprised, nobody seems to like him so far
  7. Perhaps you believe Ralph will not fire Dcik Jauron, I believe he will fire him on December 29th. Open this link and select a coach most likely to be fired by January 2009 Start from the bottom and work your way up the list till you find the Best fit for the Bills. We need a coach that can attract top assistants in a division with Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells I believe Ralph has no choice but to hire a proven Head Coach.....the fans will not accept a bright young assistant, and clearly needs to win back the fans. Keep in mind, there are always surprises in January. Please exclude the coach rated dead last on this list with a 8% approval rating. I like the following.... Norv Turner? Jack Del Reo? Mike Holmgrem is on the hot seat in Philly at 2-11. (The fans have a petition to replace him) http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/sportsnation/ratings Who do you like?
  8. And what do you think Ralph will do about it?
  9. Did you notice they trashed the assistants?
  10. Teams like the Giants, Pats, Cowboys suffer an injury like Angelo Crowell and they have a ready list of veteran players and they bring them in. Buffalo does nothing and struggles through depth players. Fast decisions by the GM in control of the team can win games for you
  11. I believe there is a power struggle within the Buffalo organization that prevents them from making faster dicisions
  12. You better give this some real thought. Russ Brandon is in charge of the entire Buffalo Bills operation, yet we watch the same old Bills for 10 games now. Who is in the best position to make recommendations to Ralph Wilson? How does Russ Brandon feel about the contract extension for Dick Jauron? OK, now imagine Bill Parcells in charge in Buffalo. I guarantee you Bill would have made adjustments by now! If Ralph does not listen to Russ Brandon, that means our GM is powerless. We need a POWERFUL GM that can make decisions and solve problems for Ralph Wilson. I miss the days when Bill Pollian would acquire talent, manage the team and make smart decisions. Bill Pollian is not the only game in town, we need a powerful GM well trusted by Ralph Wilson. So, in closing, let me ask you this question. Who will select our next head coach? Ralph will take suggestions from Russ Brandon and salary demands will be an issue. I believe the Bills suffer from internal problems directly connected to the contract extension signed by Dick Jauron and a powerless GM unable to fix problems without consulting with Ralph Wilson. General Manager problems in Buffalo are well documented and continue to plague the franchise. -Die Hard 1967
  13. You guys disappoint me, here is my sales pitch form Ralph. Dick Jauron was selected by a wonderful, intelligent, well schooled, ex GM and Coach..... Marv Levy. He is a very studious young man, with nerves of steel and never shows any emotion. THE PLAYERS JUST LOVE HIM and begged me not to fire him. Our players take full responsibility for the 2008 season and Dick Jauron is blameless in my book. We are on course to win the Superbowl in 2009. We are truly fortunate to have such a brilliant young coach in Dick Jauron, and that is why I extended his contract by 3 years? So just shut up and buy those tickets...or I will move the Bills to Toronto! -Ralph
  14. You are correct. By the way Gas is 1.64 on my corner in Florida
  15. Go ahead, you can be Ralph Wilson. Give me your best sales pitch for purchasing season tickets , should Dick Jauron remain HEAD COACH. That remains the #1 reason why he needs to go, it is simply impossible to market Dick Jauron to the Buffalo fans. I don't care who Buffalo gets in free agency or the draft, if you can't coach them, they are worthless. Now, go ahead and try to sell me.....this should be good! See post #17 for my sales pitch
  16. In my book, he can't do anything, but perhaps you have an opinion? Example: Win 3 straight games If you believe he can't do anything, how will you react if he is not fired?
  17. Next year will make 42 years and I don't even live in Buffalo anymore
  18. You would have to give Ralph high marks for firing a coach that he just signed to an extension! It is all so unRalph like. Should Ralph fire Dick Jauron as some of you suggest, I will be shocked and speechless. I will believe it when I see it! A clause in Jauron's contract that stipulates the Bills must finish .500 or above is more Ralph's style This could be the reason there is no official announcement from the Bills. You may have heard the saying " You can't take it with you" in reference to $$$$ Ralph may be the first Millionaire to be buried with wads of $500 bills in an over sized casket. A special speaker system will be installed in all 4 corners that plays his favorite song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hkjkTe5kZE Go ahead Ralph, Prove me wrong and make us all proud!
  19. I am not sure he will do that well
  20. I went to the Miami game and left very unhappy, I knew we were in trouble
  21. I am actually excited, I want to see if Jauron can show us anything worth watching
  22. True, but that won't stop the fans from coming back to dream a little
  23. I have been a season ticket holder for 41 years and I have seen this happen so many times I stopped counting. One Big, convincing victory and the fans stop their Christmas shopping and RETURN to the WAGON. Sure, Buffalo will need to win out, but that won't stop them. Most may not even watch the game...but they will be back, trust me, they will be back! If J.P. Losman has a big game....god help us all! I can also predict the first thread at 10 PM Sunday night... " Let's sign Losman before we lose him" Most fans will puke up their chicken wings & beer, then go to bed! Bills 28 Dolphins 10
  24. Lets face reality here, if Losman throws 3 int and fails to move the team, there will always be fans here that live in denial. The guy is god in some circles and the whorship ends when he retires.
