I will keep this real short and you will need to read between the lines on some of the problems and use experience as a fan to better understand the problems. You guys are smart, well, most of you anyway....lol. I spend most of my time reading your threads, and I understand the issues. But we have a few problems here. The problem is, some of you are right, and some of you are wrong. THE WAGON HAS CRASHED, AND EVERYONE WANTS TO SAVE IT! Thousands of you have the answers, and you want to raise the Bills wagon to safety, God bless you! Here is the problem, and it never changes from one year to the next. THE PROBLEM IS, SOME OF US ARE MORE PATIENT THEN OTHERS, SOME OF US WOULD RATHER SPEND THE AFTERNOON AT THE DENTIST THEN EXPERIENCE ANOTHER REBUILDING PROJECT, SOME ENJOY THE BLAME GAME AND OTHERS GENERALIZE PROBLEMS THAT PLACE RALPH WILSON IN THE SPOTLIGHT AS A CHEAP, INFLEXIBLE OWNER TOO OLD TO ADDRESS THE TRUE ISSUES, BUT MOST OF YOU ARE JUST PLAIN AGGRAVATED AND ARE WILLING TO TRY ANYTHING. I don't expect everyone to agree with me because I understand the above. Most fans are just plain frustrated, we started the season 4-0 and missing the playoffs is totally unexceptionable. We missed a golden opportunity to cash in on a weak, I said weak AFC-EAST. New England, an aging Bradyless football team is simply AVERAGE. The Jets have Brett Farve, but barely beat the the Bills with J.P. Losman at quarterback, and the Miami Dolphins, a horrible team last year and now could make the playoffs with Chad Pennington at quarterback. I understand the problems but I am not going to make it easy on you, just answer the questions and draw your own conclusions. #1 When was the last time the defense won a game all by themselves for the Bills? Shut some team down and dominated? #2 How is Buffalo's pass rush effecting the secondary? #3 How well has the coaching staff prepared the team for division games and weaker teams like the Rams, Browns and 49er's? When the Bills lost the easy games, how did this effect the locker room? #4 Buffalo needed a tough Physical WR and drafted one in James Hardy, was he ready to contribute? #5 Has the Offensive line become the strength of the team, or have they failed to generate a consistent running attack? #6 This is a big one, How much help did Dick Jauron receive in filling glaring holes in the lineup after players were injured? How do the Patriots always find these veterans nearly out of football, plug them in, and move forward? How does the Patriots get a player like Randy Moss for a 3rd round selection in the draft? Are they just lucky??? How do the Patriots attract players? #7 When opposing teams game plan for the Bills, what player on Defense for the Bills can disrupt any game plan and destroy any chance of winning? I remember this guy.....oh, what was his name? Ah, Bruce something....ah? #8 How many top NFL coaches want to coach in Buffalo with Ralph Wilson as owner? Will this great new head coach have any control in solving problems? #9 How can you possibly evaluate talent, if you hate the coaching staff ? I find it impossible! Could it be the players have more talent then you give them credit for, but the coaching staff is incapable of coaching them properly? #10 How many Buffalo Bills players really want to be in Buffalo, and how many clearly want out of town? Does this effect the locker room? Has Lee Evans really given up on his endorsement of J.P. Losman, or has he been told to keep his mouth shut? I hope I have helped you identify some of the problems, now answer me this. Who in the front office is capable of fixing the problems the way Bill Parcells did for the Dolphins? Will the Dophins just steal the division next year with sound decision making by Bill Parcells while the rest of the AFC-East watches in horror? Its time to lift the wagon to safety, grab the fender and lift. You older guys can watch and supervise the project! Sorry, I tried to keep it short but failed miserably, lol. - Die Hard 1967

Who was Buffalo's last angry coach?

I clearly stated that Buffalo does not need a maniac, screaming coach, I believe the team and fans need a passionate head coach that can solve problems and set a good example in the locker room. Players need to understand that missing the playoffs after a fast start is unexceptionable and the coaching staff is capable of fixing problems on a weekly basis. -

I want everyone to know I don't place all the blame with Dick Jauron, I see a team that lacks confidence and enthusiasm on the field. Personally, I think team leadership is one of the many problems -

The point I am making is Ralph selects good employees over good coaches But, Dick is always on time to work and he parks his car in the right space. -

I think Ralph trusted Marv, and that is the difference -

I agree with you 100%. Chuck was a great coach, Ralph clearly screwed up with that guy. I wonder what ever happened to Chuck Knox? -

The sure looked unmotivated against the Browns, the first Miami game and the Rams at home -

You will notice some of the above coaches in the link are no longer head coaches or about to be fired. Dick Jauron is not a motivator, I think that is pretty obvious -

I used him as an example for that reason. Ralph wants good employees that keep their mouths closed. Ralph is simply old school, you are an employee, I am the boss The only coaches he really respected was Chuck Knox and Marv Levy Lou Saban was always quiting some team, just like Parcells did. -

He was coaching a High School team 2 miles from my house in floridia 2 years ago. The guy is almost 85 years old, I heard he moved outside NYC recently -

I am not looking for professional actors here. We need a coach who speaks his mind, and can motivate players If you don't want to win....retire! I like it! -

Please Sell the Bills.....

Do you watch TV? Hear anything about the Auto Industry and Jobs in WNY? Think Ralph is watching? Do you think the Auto industry employees and venders buy tickets? 400,000 total population today .............with 150,000 Auto related jobs in WNY at stake. Not a good time to ask Ralph to sell. This team will go to the highest bidder and I don't care what Jim Kelly says. I do think he has good intentions though! I have warned you guys before, enjoy the Bills while you still have a team.... -

Maybe that is why he coached in 4 Superbowls??? -
Lets go back over the last 45 years... Who was the last coach in Buffalo to raise his voice in a post game press conference at OBD or the Rockpile? Its called passion guys, are the Bills so good that the coaches have no reason to be angry? Have you ever wondered about that? The last coach I remember getting angry was Lou Saban, and he was conveniently released from his contract after the season. Do our coaches have a "WILL NOT GET ANGRY" clause in their contracts. I truly believe Buffalo fans want the true answers, and not some coach blowing wind or avoiding the true questions. This is one of the main reasons Buffalo fans don't like most of our coaches, on Monday we receive NO REAL ANSWERS and the head coach doesn't seem to care. We can't even get a straight answer on a contract extension. You probably heard the saying " A team takes on the personally of the head coach" Open the links below and compare these guys to any former Buffalo Bills Head coach. Here is Dick Jauron after an embarrassing loss at home to the Rams "Theres not a lot we can say about it" says Jauron http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...0b-c30381a6c0d8 I am not interested in some maniac, screaming head coach, but a little passion would be welcome in Buffalo. Note: If you can figure out why our head coaches never get angry about anything, you may be on to something. DIE HARD 1967

Well, I agree with you.
