  1. She's 53 years old for those wondering. I'm wondering how many procedures she's had done. That said, yes I would, of course.
  2. I went to high school at Williamsville East, graduating in 1979. As some of you may know, the high school was built without walls. Partitions yes but walls, not really. Big open space divided by partitions, carpeted, acoustic tile ceilings, sound deadening materials, etc. One of the bizarre "design features" is that the restrooms did not have doors. I'm not talking the stalls, I'm talking the stalls AND the restrooms. To make matters worse, all of the restrooms were located in corners of the building next to classrooms. These were typical restrooms with tile and concrete block (read ECHOING) surfaces. It was not in the least uncommon for people to be sitting in the classrooms and be "treated" to the sounds of someone having a less than ideal bowel movement. I'm sure they must have changed that after I left but it's amazing to me that this ill-conceived design actually came to "fruition."
  3. You forgot the part about making sure that people nearby the time and the place of the murder heard gunshots.
  4. And belaboring a favorite point of mine, Seattle and Washington didn't get over the hump until they got good quarterbacking. In fact if you look at Washington's roster, it is decidedly underwhelming. Seattle on the other hand was a very talented team pre-Russell Wilson but the talent wasn't reflected in the won-lost record.
  5. It also says a lot about Jimbo's mental and physical toughness. But then again, we already knew he was tough.

  7. The new ones: http://www.chargers.com/media-vault/photo-gallery/Chargers-Tweak-Jerseys/d45ed554-27f6-4a37-8bbd-43990ff6b936#b979552e-4694-472a-8ada-2c19cc330dd1 What they wore in 2012: http://www.chargers.com/team/history/uniforms/uniform-visual-timeline.html#2012
  8. Me too but the last two questions are bs. "None" is an option? Being "coupled" with someone? I hate trick questions. And apparently your eyes are slowly and inevitably drawn to the gap. :nana: Hmmm, adds a layer of difficulty for some of those scoutmasters to perform a reach-around. Seriously though, if anyone visits an Amish farmhouse such as the ones in Cattaragus and Chautauqua counties, you might have seen their outhouses which feature row seating. Amish households are typically large with many kids. They need that cheap farm labor. BTW, 39 replies on this topic? All I can say is Holy ****!
  9. I guess the NFL has prohibited bringing seat cushions into the stadium but that hasn't stopped the Bills from selling them: http://www.shopthebills.com/search.aspx?find=seat+cushion
  10. Disagree. The NFL was just as violent last year as any year I can remember. There were just less dirty plays. Anyways, every fan base in the NFL would want their team to be viewed as tough, physical, smash-mouth, etc. We're no different. I'm interested to see what sort of personality this team develops. The interesting thing to me about the Bills team image over its history is that the great Bills teams of the mid-60s teams really seemed to reflect Buffalo's identity moreso than the great 90s teams. JMO.
  11. Yep. Due to injuries and whatnot, Parcells was forced to start QBs Ray Lucas and Rick Mirer for the 1999 season and still went 8-8.
  12. Besides landing on the pad, the "sackee" was not exactly a small guy either… not exactly a pencil-necked geek.
  13. I doubt pot was damaging to her career at all if you look at the facts. For anything anyone knows, it might have helped it.
  14. John as usual makes excellent points and the discussion of talent is not really so black and white as it is grey. That said I have to side with you on this one. There is perceived talent and then there is unperceived talent. There is established talent and unestablished talent. There are players who live off their reputations and players who don't yet have reputations. The line between winning and losing is usually very thin in the NFL where almost every year a team goes from worst to first. There are talented teams who don't win and less-talented teams that do win. IMO most of the teams have very similar talent across the board and the biggest differences among teams is the coaching staff and the quarterback play. For instance the 2-14 Kansas City Chiefs had 6 Pro Bowlers but their coach was Romeo Crennel and their quarterback was Matt Cassel. How good a team is Green Bay without Aaron Rodgers? Are there any good teams with bad quarterbacks? I know this runs counter to those who believe that talent wins football games but I've never believed that so much as I believe what experience has shown us over and over: that the best teams have the best coaches and the best quarterbacks.
  15. You've just gotta learn to turn on, tune in, and drop out… like set your mind free man.
  16. Not even a half-sentence synopsis? You've really let yourself slip…
  17. And you bums. Don't forget that. I get these migraines. Why did they deny me my prescription? WHY?
  18. Seeing as we're all beating up on Doc today, yeah, the comment "The reason I speculated drugs is because he's had a history of drug problems (pot, but that often leads to other stuff)" made me laugh. The only "other stuff" that pot led me to was better pot. And of course, you bums. My theory on pot and Hernandez is that if Hernandez had smoked more pot, he wouldn't be in the trouble he's in right now. Ya gotta wonder if the NFL's Substance Abuse Program is having the desired effect.
