  1. Would you say that any positive story about the Bills would simply be marketing and PR spin? Is it possible for someone to write an article on the Bills based on legitimate optimism that some people here wouldn't dismiss as bs?
  2. Thanks Buftex. You're one of the posters here who consistently adds something and I really appreciate it.
  3. Good stuff, thanks for linking! I like what I see of EJ's footwork. I like that King feels that there's "legitimate reason for optimism."
  4. No he has not. Nor has Michael Oher who last week stated that he's more comfortable playing on the right side. The Bills were heavily criticized by some on this board for passing over Bulaga and Oher. That criticism has vanished. However none of the critics have recanted. How predictable.
  5. Anyways, Sunday's Bills roundup: http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Bills_Roundup_Roster_Moves_Sunday_Highlights/0c9e2d6e-b88f-4036-94eb-54e2f5edca41 Coach Marrone's presser: http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Coach_Marrone_Injury_Update_Scrimmage_Preview/ed0d84ae-5393-4891-a3b2-9985d1312d5e
  6. And clearly Jake Long is not on a Hall of Fame trajectory. I think the new logo sucks and the new color sucks. That said, maybe it's just that they take getting used to. But mostly it's the Dolphins so true Bills fans are not objective about their uniforms.
  7. It becomes even more of a grey area because as you know one could also argue that even though he's minimized his injury risk in terms of exposure, that he's increased his injury risk by 1) not being in football shape 2) not knowing what he's doing out on the field in the new defense
  8. Thanks Mike. Going through the photos right now. I'm surprised at Blatnick's body type. He seems more lanky and long than I was expecting. Okay I asked this last year and already forgot the explanation. Why are some of the players wearing those yellow helmet covers? Wow! Marrone signing autographs and posing for pictures?
  9. ^^^^^^ Thanks for your impressions. Like I've said before it's interesting hearing many different accounts and finding some common themes as well as some unique takes.
  10. Not with this many personalities in the room. Anyone can say anything at anytime in response to your posts. And they will.
  11. Another guy like that is Shaun Hill. Hill also has a career winning percentage and a good passer rating over a good sample size. Like Moore, Hill has played on bad teams so that makes their career success that much more impressive. I can't believe how skinny Dion Jordan and Barkevious Mingo are. I remember long, athletic pass rushers before but except for Aaron Maybin, no one as skinny as these guys.
  12. He had two bad plays, both after the 2 minute warning. Getting a delay of game penalty coming out of a timeout and then the red zone sack. He was out of the tackle box, he could have thrown the ball away. That said he has a winning record (13-12) as an NFL starter and has a lifetime PER of over 80. He's better than some starters in this league and I would say he's definitely better than Kolb.
  13. Incredibly they took a bad uniform and made it even worse. Moore is such a polished QB. How is it that a guy like Matt Flynn is more coveted in free agency? I can't believe Moore re-signed with the Dolphins to be a backup.
  14. To add to OC's reply, my thought was the same: Being right about how good the team will/won't be has zero to do with football knowledge. It probably has more to do with psychological traits than anything else.
  15. Matt Moore is better than a lot of starting QBs. Miami is lucky to have him. Orton's pretty good for a backup too. Wow. Moore really tried to make that tackle on the INT that was bobbled by the receiver. I hope he didn't get hurt. That's some effort for a "meaningless" game.
