It seems that there are lots of QBs who can run for yardage but very few who can make plays in the passing game when they are flushed and forced to throw on the run. On the other hand I hope he doesn't absorb the punishment that Big Ben and Rodgers do. Both of those guys take unnecessary hits while trying to extend plays and would do better to run and slide IMO.

Fitzy fell under that category of QBs that stopped scanning the field when he flushed the pocket. Once he pulled the ball down it was off to the races. Hopefully that is something that the Bills new starting QB excels at.

Kolb knows the offense. He's been studying it for over 4 months. Marrone and Hackett have been complimentary of Kolb's performance so far. We should cut Kolb and pickup a veteran who doesn't know the offense? C'mon Bado.

The Bills QB decisions lately have been a bit bizarre. I feel Gailey completely mismanaged his QBs as far as roster and playing time decisions. I mean Tyler Thigpen? Also: Tarvaris has 34 career starts in 7 seasons. Kolb has 21 career starts in 6 seasons. Finally, I thought it was a weird move to re-sign Tarvaris and then to cut him. I guess they saw all they needed to see in OTAs.

Also, Kolb reportedly had his best practice just prior to leaving the team to be with family. Strong point. Kolb sounds German to me. I don't understand the "less Polish" comments either. He's not Polish at all from what I can tell.
