  1. Definitely. I'm trying to ramp down my enthusiasm now. I'm trying to figure out how much significance to attach to this performance. We're on the road to one of the AFC's wildcard teams. Our starters held their own in spite of a lot of shakiness and our reserves are destroying their reserves.
  2. To the bolded, this is a new staff, new system, and a lot of new players in the first preseason game. This is not what you expect to see in the preseason. It is what you hope and dream for though.
  3. Can you believe the mastery Tuel has over this offense? Audibling, calling protections, correcting where players are lining up… But it goes deeper than that. Look at how well defense and special teams has played.
  4. I haven't noticed him too much in coverage. Crezdon Butler has stood out in the secondary.
  5. This kid Robey looks like he's a good punt returner. Good instincts and good short area burst.
  6. See I disagree. I think Harnish is pretty developed but his teammates are completely outmanned.
  7. Hmmm… on the road against a playoff team and our 2nds and 3rds are dominating…
  8. The Senator always wanted us to hire Mike Leach. Now we have a Mike Leach disciple in Jeff Tuel. While Tyler Wilson struggles in Oakland, it's amazing the play the Bills are getting out of an undrafted free agent. Something definitely feels different here. It's felt different since the coaching search.
  9. Anyways I hate to lead with negativity due to annoyance. Congratulations to EJ on his first NFL TD pass.
  10. Bizarre concept isn't it? I was expecting a fully polished product, after all he's had two weeks of training camp leading up to his first NFL game ever.
  11. Now the bi-polars will overpraise him. Good first half of football for EJ. I really like the way he fought through his jitters.
  12. Yeah if it were Rob Johnson he would have run out of bounds for a loss. Gotta protect that completion percentage you know.
  13. I thought the ball landed outside the ten and rolled inside the ten?
  14. Amazingly that's almost par for the course for NFL DBs. I never understood how such marvelous athletes could have such bad hands but it's common.
  15. I didn't like the hire and I hope my theory explains some of his lack of career success. But I really don't have a clue.
  16. I made the comments at the time that though his track record is bad, a special teams coach is only as good as the head coach allows him to be regarding the amount of practice time and which players he can use. If the HC doesn't prioritize special teams, they won't be any good. Maybe that was part of Crossman's problem?
