  1. Another helpful pointer is that if you have a 500 watt soldering iron you can leave it in your beer like a drink stirrer and it'll heat up that brew right quick.
  2. I know you're exaggerating but for the record, the Bills allowed 98 yards rushing on 18 carries in the first half. Included in that is QB Pat White's two runs for 25 yards. That means the Bills surrendered 73 yards on 16 running back carries in the first half. Obviously not good enough but on the other hand, the Bills pass coverage was porous and the team didn't play well in any facet.
  3. Impossible. Werder said to Rapoport said to Shefter, that Mortensen's source confirmed that Parker said to league sources that Kaplan is correct that Byrd might be open to a trade under the correct circumstances.
  4. Don't be ridiculous. I'm winning the poll. I wonder if things will change regarding EJ's availability?
  5. Very little for sure. Arthur Moats, Shawn Powell. Crezdon Butler who played well in week one and missed week two looked pretty good today. Stevie looked good in glimpses although he fumbled the ball. Robert Woods looked good. If EJ can't play, the Bills are sunk at QB.
  6. The Bills have been disappointing today but I had the same thought when Helu's fumble bounced right back into his hands. Yeah. Two third-down checkdowns on the last two drives. Both short of the first down. True. He's becoming obsessed with that train of thought.
  7. You can see pretty clearly that Tuel has more pocket poise than Kolb. Correct. In spite of getting the ball out quickly, the Redskins had a lot of open receivers.
  8. Well I agree that he's like Jones. A good athlete who is very unpolished as a wideout. I hope spoon feeding his raw skills will help him avoid bust status. Clearly Kolb was not putting the ball where it needed to be. Very likely EJ will be able to feed Graham the ball downfield.
  9. He has disappointed for a first rounder but I wouldn't say Leodis has been horrible as a cover man.
  10. Probably not but he's been a disappointment so far IMO.
  11. Man, the Bills invested a 3rd rounder in the guy. But yes, he doesn't look like one of our better receivers to me.
  12. Like I said I'm concerned about CB but again, McKelvin is usually good in coverage. He's just a bad ball athlete. He is definitely very rusty having been out as long as he's been. Concern is legit but to judge Leodis on his first half of football is not quite fair.
  13. I'm really concerned about cornerback. However it looks to me like TJ isn't a good football player. He just doesn't have the instincts, IMO. He has a hard time tracking the ball, doesn't naturally high point when he has the chance, just seems very raw for a wide receiver. I don't think TJ has much trade value. The bright side is that Woods looks really good and the Bills don' really need TJ to come through for them. It was but I'm not worried about Stephon, nor do I think are most people.
  14. Usually he's really tight in coverage but can't make a play on the ball. Today he's been quite distant from the man he's supposed to cover.
  15. In fairness, Searcy has sucked all preseason so I think reasonable people never doubted that Byrd's addition would help. However I'm a bit concerned by the cornerback play. Quite a bit of it can be attributed to the return of rusty vets, McKelvin and Rogers. Both of those guys have been exploited quite a bit.
  16. Just remember what "they" say: The preseason is meaningless.
  17. McKelvin is having a game that reminds me of when Terrence McGee made that ill-advised start against Miami a few years ago.
  18. BTW, I think Kolb is done in this league. QBs that are concussion-prone are not a valued commodity.
  19. I can't stand Theismann and I haven't heard Tasker this week but I think Theismann is actually not bad today and Tasker was brutal last week.
  20. Yeah Hughes lost outside contain on a few plays on that TD drive.
  21. Well it increases the speed with which the ball comes in so it adds a bit of difficulty for some people. Mostly though I think Gilmore was looking into the sun.
  22. Tasker was also unbelievably horrible last week. You wouldn't think a network guy could be that bad. Last week I wondered if he's drinking. Seriously. I'm watching NFL Network coverage today.
