  1. So far Brady has played like he always plays. The difference is his clueless and butter-fingered receiving corps.
  2. I believe the 17 is now called "The David Nelson Way."
  3. Is that a good thing? BTW, the over/under on this game is 43 points. Beautiful ball by Geno.
  4. Have to disagree. Besides the three egregious drops, Brady missing targets can also be attributed to his two rookie receivers not knowing where they're supposed to be. That's a high level of nuance!
  5. There's certainly a difference between a defensive battle versus a game between two impotent offenses.
  6. Another factor seemed to be that the Cheatriots*** weren't pressuring Geno in the first quarter.
  7. I don't totally agree. Remember that New England is without Amendola and Shane Vereen this week. Both of them had huge games against the Bills. Agreed.
  8. So were the Stevie and Chandler drops for the Bills but all of these drops go in the category of "should have been caught," IMO.
  9. If I were Belichick I'd have to give serious consideration to not letting Edelman return punts. He's their only proven wideout.
  10. Brady threw that one in a ridiculously small window. Then missed a redemption-minded Dobson.
  11. There was a confirmed report this week from PFT that the Cheatriots*** were among several teams which approached Brandon Lloyd about playing this year but apparently he really doesn't want to play football anymore, at least not at what's being offered.
  12. They're averaging 4 yards per carry, same as the Bills last week. Brick and Mangold are good. Not sold on the other guys. I don't believe the Jets O-line is better than ours.
  13. There's never been any question about his physical talents. Wilfork gets nice push and disruption but the Cheatriots*** only legit edge rusher is Chandler Jones and he's far from elite.
  14. Belichick actually has a long history of contain-type pass rushes. Some QBs get real nervous when they're trapped in the pocket. I wonder if he's trying to see how Geno reacts to this? Conventional wisdom of course is that you pressure a rookie QB.
  15. You vile pig. Again a straight up 4-man rush with not stunting. Geno is feeling comfortable back there because the Patriots are not pressuring him.
  16. Strongly disagree with the overturned play. I don't care what the rule reads, that was a catch and a strip.
  17. He definitely has nice "arm talent" (to use a vogue and annoying phrase).
  18. Yeah some of those throws were surgical. Between Amendola and Edelman it seemed like he didn't need too many targets. Of course their running back was outstanding too. Boy Edelman got blasted on that one. Can you imagine if he gets injured?
