  1. There have been numerous teams who've carried two kickers in the past. It wouldn't be the first time a team has justified carrying two of them.
  2. Long, Levitre, and Wood? Sounds like a natural fit.
  3. Can we shift him over to offensive line?
  4. Figured what out yet? The name of the QB that Green Bay took?
  5. So the fact that this guy is an instant touchback has no value to you?
  6. I can't believe we drafted a kicker over that guy. I thought he'd be the perfect developmental QB. Obviously in Green Bay he's going into a great situation.
  7. A British plantation owner in the Caribbean? I guess that means it's too hot for polo and there's no foxes down there.
  8. Are you talking about the legendary "Tricky Rick" Trickett? … is an elite left tackle! The point was that you can't call him a reach. You can say he went where he was supposed to go but you can't call him a reach.
  9. So you don't think he plays polo or goes fox hunting?
  10. You mean those QBs that some here were suggesting we should draft? Why not Thomas Moore? Too late. Mr Blizzard signed him as his new avatar. As much as I'd love for the Bills to Ad rooster, they've already drafted 3 tackles.
  11. You're supposed to say, "Buddy's sleeping." "Wake up Buddy!" is also acceptable. The rejoinder then is "Ralph is cheap." We all agreed on this. Get with the program. I guess you could call Potter, "the point after." I thought we agreed to call it "an upper-body injury." Why is no one following the agreed upon rules? Not so fast, EC. We still have to find our franchise holder. Let's not allow the excitement of the draft cloud our thinking.
  12. I thought he was conference DPOY twice? Seriously didn't I read that somewhere? Why don't you think he'll become a star?
  13. Also his 10-yard split wasn't anything to write home about.
  14. Yeah, well stated. That's the point I was trying to make. Especially when that region is the best.
  15. Tommy Streeter maybe? "just cuz the ole hound ain't barkin' don't mean he's sleepin' "
  16. Best name on the team? For some reason I thought you'd like Nigel Bradham and Alex Carrington.
  17. I know what your concern is but take the Ron Brooks pick for instance. The guy played behind the best cornerback in this year's draft (Claiborne), the best cornerback in last year's draft (Peterson), and two players who are projected to go in the first round next year. Brooks excelled every time he played and in a program like LSU, their reserves are often times as good and better than starters in other programs. Arguably counter to your concerns, the extreme focus on the SEC will yield hidden gems like Brooks… a guy who had he had the fortune to be the starter in this talented group, might himself have been a high draft pick.
