  1. There were high hopes for Skooby when he first registered to our board but he flamed out rather spectacularly.
  2. According to today's lingo, it means "Stoned as F______" I'm not sure it's wise for the Bills to sign so many stoners.
  3. I believe he signed with the Shangri-La Utopians. Their facilities are lovely… very worthy of The Chroise.
  4. I'm more of the Bill Parcells school… PROVE to us you can stop the run. Bailing on the run prematurely just means you're getting a bit too cute. Pound it and let the other team give you a convincing reason to stop pounding it. It surely beats the 3 incompletions and out drill. They must be glad to have gotten rid of Bruce Arians. Arguably they haven't been playing "Steelers Football" in a long time. And I bet people there are gleeful with the DeCastro and Adams selections. Looks like a return to Steelers Football.
  5. Sarcasm, Kemp. The Bills signed Shawn Powell, Florida State. Many people consider him the best punter in this year's crop.
  6. Wait, both of you hang out with guys that are idiots? (connecting the dots) I believe the epicenter is in the area just south of Jackson, Mississippi.
  7. I complained during numerous live game threads on this forum that the Bills were abandoning the run prematurely. It was obvious that they were getting needlessly pass-happy. This happened game after game AND during the period where it was obvious Fitz was injured (well at least it was obvious to some people) and when our O-linemen and wide receivers were dropping like flies. Coach Gailey can try to explain it away all he wants but being pass-happy is a very legitimate criticism of his coaching last season.
  8. Thomas Dimitroff left after the 2007 season. Scott Pioli left after the 2008 season. The years preceding 2008 are irrelevant just like the Bills drafts pre-Nix are now irrelevant. Quit ball washing the Cheatriots***. If we're gonna talk about great drafts by teams we hate, the discussion starts with the Steelers. edit: Also to be more effective you should link the primary article: http://www.nepatriot...ted-free-agents
  9. Isn't that the guy who wrote "The Grape of Wrath?" Seriously, Green Bay got themselves a nice player but it's not like Rodgers is near retirement or nothing. It's like Shanny taking Cousins. The kid is sentenced to a backup role.
  10. It sucks to be you but I really feel sorry for the people who have to deal with you on a regular basis.
  11. Thanks for compiling, Nanker, Yeah that is one ugly list.
  12. Actually I'm basing my opinion of Graham mostly on his highlights which don't really impress me. Then you throw in the trade up aspect and that dampens it for me a bit more. Im not condemning the pick… just not enthused. Love the Brooks pick though!
  13. A lot of us would have sprouted wood had the Bills been able to pull off that Casey Matthews trade. I still can't believe it didn't happen.
  14. I think Chris is a hardworking, earnest, and serious worker with lots of integrity. Within the parameters set for him, I think he does a good job.
  15. I'm intrigued by the fact that he had a lot of tackles in spite of getting a lot of touchbacks. How does a guy do something like that? Maybe he's got special powers.
  16. And besides Claiborne and Peterson, Brooks was competing for playing time with two players who could be first rounders next year, Tyrran Mathieu and Tharold Simon.
  17. Ralph probably asked him to take Potter in the 7th… he didn't want to pay a kicker 6th round money. So if the Bills sign a dedicated franchise holder, you're gonna be upset?
  18. More interesting than the Levi Brown move (at least to me) is the fact that the CFL used to have two teams named the Roughriders. One of them is the team Brown signed with, Saskatchewan Roughriders. The other one is the Ottawa Rough Riders (two words, not one). They were one of North American oldest professional sports franchises now defunct… 1876-1996. Can you imagine listening to the Roughriders versus the Rough Riders on a radio broadcast? And speaking of Amish QBs, did you guys see where "the other other" Amish Rifle, Chandler Harnish, was Mr Irrelevant this year?
  19. It's hard to say. I love several of the Bills picks most notably Cordy Glenn who I vocally advocated for. To get him in the 2nd obviously made me very happy cause I would have been happy with him in the first. Everything the Bills said after drafting him were things I'd been saying since March. I loved the the Brooks pick as well as the Carder and Sanders picks. I also liked the Bradham pick. I would say that my least-favorite pick is the Graham pick. On top of being very skeptical of his video and credentials, I'm not convinced that it was necessary to give up a 7th to move up two places. And even if it was, there were other WRs I liked better. It reminds me of the fantasy drafts where you have a real solid draft but for some reason, in the 3rd round you brain farted and made a highly dubious pick. Chixley and Co seemed to immediately regain their footing and I give the draft an A-/ B+
  20. That leaves only Corp himself. His silence is disconcerting. Seriously though, wadya think the chances are that his nickname is "The Air Corp."
  21. Well… it sounds like he's never played polo or gone fox hunting.
