Gordio, why are you lumping every teacher as if they have the same job? Within teaching there are huge disparities in both working conditions and compensation. Yes some teachers have it pretty good but there are also a lot of other teachers who have it pretty bad. I am not a school teacher but I think your attack (which it clearly was because we weren't talking about teacher compensation) is off base because (your attack) is an absurdly sweeping generalization and because it's mean-spirited and beside the point… tangential at best.

To Promo, I'll just say that the body is a system and every joint, muscle, ligament, etc affects every other joint, muscle, ligament, etc. To spell it out more, a badly broken leg could have caused Wood to run and/or move differently than he used to… which in turn could possibly have been a contributing factor in his second injury. This is true even though his injuries were to different legs. As a guy who's broken his leg, I know that everything in the body is affected by an injury.

According to DML, we're tied for last place. The Patriots have an easier schedule than us, partly because conventionally speaking they play us twice while we play them twice. But on top of that, their schedule is more favorable in terms of the bye sequences and the sequence of their opponents (home/road and playoff/non-playoff teams).

IF the ratings were sufficient, then the Bills could hypothetically charge a fee for carrying the practices which the station would in turn, sell advertising for. There could be two separate revenue streams, not just one… especially if it ends up increasing their total revenue. Wasn't there a little drama last year because the team changed the physical layout of the bleachers/field and made it a lot harder for fans to see what was going on on the field? Anyone?

So far Wood has played 33 out of a possible 48 games. On the other hand, he's looked dominating at times at center. I'm sure the Bills will visit this issue at the end of the 2012 season.

I've never been to St John Fisher but didn't they reconfigure the fields/bleachers recently? I thought I heard where the new setup makes it harder to see much of the drills. Is there a chance they did this partly to enhance the privacy of their practices? I like the idea and I think that there are so many Bills die hards that the ratings could justify the show. But I don't know if the Bills would go for it. It seems like teams are getting more and more secretive.

Yep. The most sacked QB per attempt in NFL history. I used to love how he would run out of bounds for a loss rather than throwing the ball away. One reason I didn't like the guy is because I was convinced that he would rather take a sack than throw an incompletion because he was stat-conscious, not team-conscious. JMO.
