  1. Brady wants to play for a long time still? That'll change on September 30th.
  2. I've always felt compassion for the guy and smiled with him for the most part. He was well behaved in Buffalo for the most part and I'd love to see someone give him another chance. I would not want to see him on the Bills for one reason: There must have been 4-5 plays during his time as a Bill where he simply quit on a pattern out of frustration… where he gave up on plays and didn't "turn defensive back" and fight for balls. To me that is a clear indicator of bad football character. It is the most damning thing about T.O. for me personally.
  3. And to add my possibly overly pragmatic view, I would wish that Mr. Wilson stays alive long enough for the new lease agreement to be reached. I can just imagine how muddled the negotiations would become if the worst were to happen.
  4. On your comment on the 2010 draft, I don't believe you should characterize 7th rounders who don't make the team as busts. In fact I don't think it's fair to call 5th rounders busts. As far as waiver and free agent pick ups, you'd have to include Kirk Morrison and Colin Brown… both solid pickups.
  5. Yeah with all the money riding on the Super Bowl in Vegas and all the ad revenue being spent, I highly doubt that whoever's in charge will let the world be destroyed before the game is played. JMO.
  6. I remember when that place first opened there was a place on the first floor called "Goldstein and Wong's Pizzeria."
  7. You're exaggerating and you know it. At worst he looked as slow as high-fructose corn syrup.
  8. I'm concerned that after he leaves the Bills in free agency that he might not want to come back and sign a one day contract to retire as a Bill.
  9. I think Capy makes a good point but what it really points to is the weakness of head coaching. When Kevin Gilbride worked under Bill Cowher and Tom Coughlin, his pass-happiness was always held in check. When he worked for Jack Pardee and Greg(g) Williams he was not held in check. In other words, an assistant can only ruin something as far as his boss lets him.
  10. To add to the theory that DeHaven was somewhat of a scapegoat, Marv himself was a special teams coach and always gave DeHaven the latitude to make sure the teams were solid. Whether it was allotting sufficient practice time and talent, Marv was generous towards special teams. It seems like Wade treated special teams like an afterthought… certainly his hiring of Ronnie Jones (last I heard coaching high school) indicated that he thought little of special teams.
  11. He ain't getting older, he's getting better!
  12. I know. One of Merriman's butt cheeks is bigger than Maybin's entire ass.
  13. And the bolded is a really good point. It doesn't matter who the special teams coach is if the head coach doesn't consider teams to be a priority. The special teams coach can only do so much with what he's given as far as practice time allotted and which players are allowed to play on teams.
  14. I haven't deeply researched it but I think it's only twenty bucks and I thought I heard that you can watch every game as many times as you want. If that's the case I'll definitely get it. Real good for "scouting" the first quarter/starter action for fantasy football too.
  15. I thought the dropsies episode happened on Friday.
  16. According to Chris Brown, the Bills did not offer Leon-hard a contract. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Whaley-likes-personnel-in-camp/f4c86e17-350b-4615-946e-3ea3544e0c96
