  1. Very bizarre. I even searched their site for Chuck Lester and was asked "did you mean Chuck Hester? " How did you guys even find that? http://www.buffalobills.com/search-results?q=chuck+lester&Go.x=0&Go.y=0
  2. What's Rochester? Isn't that a carburetor manufacturer?
  3. This is an interesting response. You're kidding, right?
  4. Really? Don't see him here: http://www.buffalobills.com/about-us/front-office.html
  5. Agreed. One of the greatest values to camp reports is to simply know who is getting reps with which unit.
  6. Thanks, Cage. BTW, I think Dotson was waived last week. I don't know who's wearing his number but could it have been Kyle Moore? Moore looked pretty decent against the Redskins.
  7. LOL. Now don't play little miss innocent with us!
  8. Thanks for the camp reports, you guys. I guess after last Thursday's performance, the bloom is off the rose a bit and I'm not getting excited about anything that happens at camp anymore. If the Bills do something during the games, then I'll get excited. But I do appreciate the first-hand scouting reports and the effort and consideration it takes.
  9. Love living in Cali and watching Bills games starting at 10am. Wifey and I moved here from Buffalo in 2002 and are pretty accustomed to the west coast schedule. It's nice that you don't have to wait too long after waking to enjoy the game and it's great that there's so much of the day left after the game is over. Our first few years we used to watch the Bills with Mark Vader in Cupertino… home to Apple Computers. Since then we've gotten the big plasma and the Sunday Ticket which is great. We love it. Except that it's kind of anti-social at times. Plan on going to watch a few games this year with the San Jose/South Bay Bills Backers. When the Bills are on the West Coast we try to catch them. We've missed them only a few times, most recently last year's debacle in San Diego. This year we'll see our Bills in San Francisco and in Phoenix on consecutive weekends in October.
  10. First Wang leaves… then Jasper. It's hard not to get emotional at times like this…
  11. Your only purpose in this thread is to give us the juicy scuttlebutt. Can you call this mutual friend and get us a report on her and Mike's reaction?
  12. Good post and it will be interesting to see where his career goes from here. As far as the play in the end zone against the Cheatriots***, while it was not a drop, I think it can be fairly debated whether he could have done a better job of securing the catch. Anyways, I always liked Lee and wish him well. I think I read here that Lee wouldn't always park in the players lot and in fact he used to park at Hammer's Lot and tip a few with the denizens. I might have that wrong but it was something along those lines.
  13. Apparently not until August 28th… still over two weeks away. Curious. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3818981
  14. I disagree, Dawg. I think Lee's age is irrelevant. Some players have long careers. Some don't. Peerless Price who is a similar player to Evans lasted 9 years in the NFL but he was pretty much cooked after his 6th season. http://www.nfl.com/player/peerlessprice/2502543/profile Whether it's physical or mental, some guys have short careers. Or perhaps to put it better, have a short window of productivity.
  15. Hmmm… Adam "Pacman" Jones was undersized too. Pacman, like Honey Badger was intercepting passes, defending passes, forcing and recovering fumbles, and returning kicks and punts for TDs. Both players are extremely quick, fast, and explosive. I'm not a big college football fan but it seems like they have lots in common including bad judgement. Anyways, Pacman was drafted 6th overall. Not sure what you mean by a "late-round pick."
  16. I'm psyched about the Bills and am still expecting a big year from them but I think your comment is a bit ironic. Quarterback-wise, I like what I see so far of Russell Wilson. Between he, Matt Flynn, and Tavaris Jackson, I think their QB situation is better than the Bills is by a fair amount. Wide receiver-wise I think between Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin, Braylon Edwards, Terrell Owens, Golden Tate and Ben Obomanu that they have a considerably better arsenal of wideouts than do the Bills. This Seahawks team is brimming with talent at just about every position. Carroll has collected a bunch of very talented players, many with a chip on their shoulder, and I'm looking forward to watching their season and particularly their two games against Carroll's hated rival, Harbaugh and the Niners. Those are gonna be two serious football games.
  17. How does that work, Kelly? As a customer you don't get to pick the camera angles do you?
  18. From what I saw in the first preseason game, Morrison looked better than Moats. While Moats might give the team more in the pass rush, Morrison seems like a much better run defender to me. Morrison seems to know where to go and doesn't take false steps, and he seems to be considerably bigger to the eye.
  19. Your fair, measured, and balanced response has no place at this table. You'd best move on if you know what's good for you.
