  1. My point remains the same… if he doesn't get injured again his past injuries won't hurt his market value.
  2. Do you remember when Mike Ramsey took a run at Wayne Gretzky in the NHL All-Star Game?
  3. How about you conduct yourself in whichever way you see fit and stop trying to sanction the behavior of others? I won't comment on your intelligence but the word is "confirmed." Nothing blows credibility like poor spelling… of course you'd want to have low credibility when calling yourself stupid.
  4. What? Are you trying to get an internship with Jeff Littman? I think this is a hopeful view. He would get what the market will bear which would be a lot, IMO. If Wood puts in an outstanding 2012 I doubt his injury history will lower his market value.
  5. How long before we get a picture of the victim so we can start a "would ya?" thread?
  6. BTW, not that he wouldn't have been a better pick than TT but Terrence Cody has shown in flashes but is still not the entrenched starter at nose tackle in Baltimore. He is a reserve behind Ma'ake Kemoeatu who is a rising star. The Bills could also have drafted Linval Joseph instead of TT and Joseph is playing very well for the New York Giants. At a fraction of the cost, to boot.
  7. Post number 26… good job. Post number 72… good job. Ditto. A preseason rebirth proved to be an aberration. Moorman's slow, steady decline was continuing this regular season. LOL! Good stuff… thanks. Yeah, I'm totally not surprised. Moorman was a great Bill. He's wealthy and respected too. Jerseys can be re-purposed. If it's the new style jersey, you should wait to see who gets number 8. Not mind blowing at all. As you suggest, a 37-year old leg would have its greatest strength during preseason. Every professional athlete should be looking over their shoulder. Their careers are short. In Lindell's case, his probable replacement is already on the team and Lindell is one of the higher-paid placekickers in the NFL. He's still probably good for another season after this one though. I'm thinking Kelsay, Spencer Johnson, and Brad Smith might be next year's cap casualties… and Thigpen if he's not cut this season. And no, not surprised by the move at all. I was a bit surprised that he performed well enough in the preseason to save his job. Too bad he couldn't sustain the performance.
  8. This reminds me that there are numerous posters here who think that they have a monopoly on funny, clever thoughts when in fact they have no sense of humor whatsoever. You'll also find people who have incredibly stupid opinions… such as the opinion that last night's hail mary play was correctly called a TD for Seattle.
  9. Totally disagree. The ball was possessed 90% by the defender, 10% by Tate.
  10. You are in a micro-minority. I believe you are the only one in this thread who feels this way. Have you read the last few pages since this happened and understand the rule?
  11. Yep. Like MDH said upstream, the two officials at the scene didn't get their stories straight. There was a disjointed, miscommunication.
  12. Kinda funny… I predicted the Seahawks would win and I was right… but really I was wrong. What should have been a good game turned into a dark moment in NFL history.
  13. The problem is, that wasn't really simultaneous possession. If it's 50/50 THEN it goes to the offense. But that was like 90/10 for the defense, IMO.
  14. Kind of unbelievable. What a debacle. The referee and officials are still huddling and talking over the headset… Another thought… for these prime time games, the NFL has been trying to put their best officials on the field…
  15. To me it's like the "Tuck Rule" which was obviously a fumble. To me, this was obviously an interception.
  16. They're calling simultaneous possession to the offense but it looked like an INT to me.
  17. Disagree. I think their job is to comment honestly on what is going on before them. To do less is to misrepresent. If they don't criticize the officiating, then they're politicking on behalf of the league.
  18. Seattle needs to hire an offensive coordinator who can install a professional offense. Some of these plays are horrible.
  19. I don't think there's any doubt that Dom Capers has outcoached Seattle's offensive strategists. It was like watching a college offense vs a very good pro defense. I find their candor quite refreshing. It's great that they are, by association, employees of the NFL but they're not afraid to criticize a bit. Objectivity and honesty is very absent in sports announcing.
  20. Good point. Why start someone at quarterback if you don't trust him?
  21. Another horrible pass interference call. Wasn't last Monday night's game also terribly officiated?
  22. Yes, he's played poorly and to compound it, Seattle has only thrown on obvious passing downs. They've been very predictable to say the least.
