  1. Marginal call against Babin. Could you imagine if it ends up screwing up our draft position?
  2. I see Catavolos has "coached up" Brooks already. Those posts and topics have been getting deleted all season long.
  3. That was a breakup, not a drop. I know. Didn't it look like an int opportunity?
  4. Marginal penalty call. That was a split second play and not an egregious hit. In other words, it wasn't that late and it wasn't that hard.
  5. McKelvin again with some strange body language. Perhaps be did tweak something earlier.
  6. Yep. And not to split hairs but there's a full fledged audible like you often see Manning doing, changing the formation, etc as opposed to a "Kill" check off when the team knows you have two plays called.
  7. Good question. Hard to tell an audible from when a QB is just calling a protection.
  8. Maybe. I took it as him being disappointed in himself for not trying harder to stay inbounds.
  9. Boy did you see that cut block on Kyle. Hope he's alright. Nice breakup by Brooks. Very nice closing quickness.
  10. David was an excellent athlete and a good linebacker. He had a long body and was a smooth athlete, but tough too.
  11. That will be a true test undoubtedly but allowing just 3.35 yards per rush over the last 4 games is still an impressive number.
  12. Care to address the theory that the reason Fitz might throw the ball too much is because of Fitz?
  13. First of all, Alex Smith is better than Fitz. Second of all, Manning would not fail here. It would only be to what degree he would lift this franchise. Thirdly, it might be inaccurate to say that Gailey relies too heavily on Fitz. The discussion this week has been whether Gailey gives Fitz enough leeway to call audibles. That was what the whole Stevie drama was about. The irony is that according to Gailey, the plays in which Fitz was not allowed to audible out of were running plays. Gailey clearly stated this and said the reason was because he wanted the team to run the ball more. The implication of this is that maybe earlier in the season that Fitz was audibling to pass plays too often which could possibly mean that the reason the Bills have been over-reliant on the pass is due to Fitz, and not Gailey. Bottom line, there's a possibility (again very ironic if true) that Fitz has put too much on his shoulders passing the ball and that Gailey is trying to unburden him with "required running plays." Finally, I don't feel horrible for Fitz. Fitz has a Harvard degree, a lovely wife who was an All-American soccer player, and has already made millions of dollars in his career. Oh, and his wife has a Harvard degree too.
  14. Usually at this point in one of these kind of threads, someone mentions ownership.
  15. I think you could actually argue that Fitz is throwing the ball better than he has all season. The effect of Shaw's coaching is probably minimal either way but I think if there was gonna be a change, that it would be for the better but over a longer period of time than anyone would like. As numerous posters have earlier pointed out, changing muscle memory is not an easy, quick deal. Fitz might get better at throwing just in time to "rescue" our season.
