  1. It seems like one of those positions where you can find a few of them under rocks.
  2. For his first start I thought he played well. Young CBs are gonna get picked on and burnt. It's a given. However, Henne, Shorts, and Blackmon and Marcedes Lewis have been lighting it up pretty well over the last few weeks. The weather hurt their passing game a bit but I liked what I saw from Brooks.
  3. I'm not sure why Leftwich is ahead of Batch. I like Batch and don't like Leftwich's game.
  4. Foles is amazingly poised. Yeah, adding more fuel to the argument that you don't draft running backs high.
  5. And they're really protecting him with the running game. BTW, the criticism of Reid all season is that he's been pass happy. Funny how the injury to Vick made them a better, more balanced offense.
  6. Now that Dallas is making it a game, we'll see how he responds to the increased pressure. Pretty cool for a rookie playing on the road in front of a national TV audience though. So far.
  7. This is inarguable. The Texans and Steelers are our hopes and I think it would be hard for the Cheatriots*** to beat Denver again. But yeah. We might spend the Super Bowl rooting against the Cheatriots***.
  8. Yep. I'm sure he was referring to Jeffrey Lurie. Will Frank's Hot Sauce do?
  9. Yes but I'm pretty hard core NFL as I don't watch NCAA. So I really try to appreciate all of these games. You just hope that they're well-played and competitive. How would you like your chicken prepared? That returner needs different shoes.
  10. All you say is true. That said, Flacco being outplayed by Batch (I know this is a bit of an oversimplification) has to be very distressing to Baltimore.
  11. I know. One guy running 20 mph in one direction getting hit by a bigger guy going 20 mph. I really don't think people appreciate the magnitude of most of these collisions.
  12. Could you imagine being drilled like that on a kick return? This quarterback is a rookie.
  13. And besides Curry who we already talked about, they still have Trent Cole who is outstanding. Whoever coaches the Eagles next year, they'll probably be set at pass rusher.
  14. I'm not too focused on the subject right now but every year there's a guy like Ahmad Brooks available that teams should have taken and didn't. Young, huge upside, etc.
  15. Referencing another active thread, I'd much rather have Romo than Flacco. I intentionally sat on my waiver claim position in my one league so I could be first in line during the stretch run. I picked up Bryce Brown so I'm feeling pretty good about that one. Looking like a winner in both leagues and very near clinching the playoffs in both.
  16. Perhaps Boat but Flacco is a huge disappointment to me. His complete inability to make plays with his feet combined with his very poor pocket awareness makes him a frustrating player to watch. I'd bet people in Baltimore are lukewarm about Flacco.
  17. Romo is really a wonderful athlete. Boy, another hold not called.
  18. Must be amazing to be in an organization where a head coach with a .600 winning percentage is on the bubble.
  19. And they're not gonna publicly diss him. They have everything to lose and nothing to gain by doing so.
  20. I couldn't give you a measurement. It was a healthy heave although a tinch underthrown. Considering how hard it was raining at the time, it's forgiven AFAIC. Speaking of Grahams, the kid who just got the sack, Brandon Graham, was the guy I wanted the Bills to draft when they took Spiller. Part of the reason of releasing Babin (besides finances) was to give Graham and second rounder Vinny Curry an opportunity to play. Anyways I liked Brandon Graham better than Derrick Morgan but I'm real glad they took Spiller.
  21. So now we can evaluate one of the QBs the Bills eschewed in favor of TJ Graham. Nick Foles.
