  1. Tried to pass out of a power run look. Sack. Spiller! Incredible making something out of nothing.
  2. Can't believe Leodis fielded that one. All the young defensive studs look great again today… Carrington, Moore, Bradham, Searcy.
  3. Rams being really aggressive attacking our O-line newbies. No surprise with Jeff Fisher calling the shots. Hope Chan has some nice plays up his sleeve.
  4. Horrible throw on 3rd down. Good thing Laurinaitis dropped that or else the DB would have had it.
  5. The NFLPA still offers confidential driving services to all NFL players on a 24 hour basis. The deal includes pre-arranged or short-notice services. Because the service is administered by the NFLPA, the players' identities is pretty much assured. The service costs $90 hour, billable to the player. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/09/nflpa-provides-confidential-transportation-services-for-current-and-former-players/
  6. Who were you talking about? Robert Quinn? Chris Long?
  7. All the more reason to pound the rock. I know we can't run on EVERY PLAY but just sayin'
  8. Me too. Kaep is 6'5 and 235 pounds, he ran a 4.5 forty at the combine and had the fastest throw in four years at the combine at 59 mph. That's as fast as a soccer ball on a penalty kick. His arm might be the best in the league. He was a 4 year starter at Nevada, put up huge numbers, won tons of games, he was the only QB at the FBS to pass for over 10,000 yards and run for over 4000 yards in a career, he was an honors student graduating with a business degree, he led Nevada to a bowl win over undefeated Boise, snapping Boise's 24 game winning streak... There was actually not anything to dislike about Kaep except for that slightly slow throwing motion. Other than that and not competing in the top level of college football. There were actually numerous posters here who thought he'd go in the first round. It was a blessing when he dropped into the second round and we still didn't seize the opportunity.
  9. As the vetting process continues, some scouts are expressing concern about Manti's foot speed. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/08/manti-teo-will-be-a-first-round-pick-but-some-question-his-speed/
  10. As I always post when the subject comes up, "Who's better?" You can't unequivocally claim that any O-line is better than the Bills. The unfortunate thing is that once again they are riddled with injuries. But that's somewhat the nature of O-linemen AND it's injuries which have provided the opportunity for many of the present day starters to bloom. It seems like Nix has a bit of an aptitude for acquiring O-linemen so I'm curious to see how Snow and Young have developed during all these months on the roster.
  11. Like Fitz, Orton was able to string together a run of good performances. Like Fitz, Orton was unable to continue to string together good performances. Before the plug was pulled on Orton, he was sucking badly. The guy is perfectly suited to his current job, NFL backup.
  12. I remember a considerable amount of support for the idea of drafting Kaepernick. Less so with Dalton.
  13. Matt Ryan has a long ways to go in my book. A long ways.
  14. Arguably you could make the point that you've made the roster more attractive to the next Head Coach. No one seems to be arguing that the roster has improved so whoever succeeds Gailey might look more favorably at the prospects of coaching the Bills. However the whole Ralph Wilson limbo situation supersedes most of my point.
  15. He is in my book. For one thing, you'd have to create an offense for him seeing as he still doesn't understand how to play quarterback. For a guy of his age and his place on the career curve, why would you want to create a new offense? The Bills need a quarterback who can actually execute the offense that's already here. One that all the offensive players already know. You don't bring in an old tail to wag the dog.
