  1. Jackson never touched Welker. Does that idiot still think he's playing college football? Then the same idiot (Jackson) fails to recover the fumble. I hate the Cheatriots***
  2. I was talking about the cab/limo driver. It goes without saying that if an NFL player is out in a bar late at night, that word will spread because lots of people (bartender, bouncer, patrons) will see him. The last person the player would worry about publicizing his nightlife is the cab/limo driver. That's just one person who's working under a contract of confidentiality.
  3. Yep. We've reached the point in the season where we're criticizing our best players. No player on this roster is above some criticism. But there are probably about 20 players and numerous coaches that I'd criticize first. But back to the original post, I don't see a dropoff in Stevie's game from the previous two years. He looks like the same guy to me. And I agree that his numbers are hurt by mediocre quarterbacking because this guy gets open.
  4. I don't know why you would take anything Nix says literally. He can be very honest at times and other times, he's playing poker, just like any other NFL GM. Good, solid take. The Bills job is not a highly-coveted one but there's good talent on the roster and there are good coaches out there who would be interested in the job.
  5. Love Stevie. Have no criticisms. This is silly. The other criticisms are legit because right or wrong, they question his effort or courage but to criticize him for the fact that he's not naturally fast? Or are you saying (without saying) that he's not hustling? If you think he gets caught from behind because he's dogging it, come out and say so. I love Stevie and have no problems with his game. I only wish we had one decent wide receiver to play across from him.
  6. And this is a concept that is only partly understood. Ultimately all these guys are individuals. I see people say things like "he's only 31 years old, he shouldn't be in decline." But all these guys "age" differently. For every London Fletcher, Brian Urlacher, Charles Tillman, Ray Lewis there are guys whose bodies are totally shot by the age of 30 like Lee Evans, Peerless Price, John Holocek, etc. A player's age is only a starting guideline and after that you have to look at performance. As for George, what BPA said. I like the guy, he's been a good Bill, but we need to replace him. BTW, I'm pretty happy with Searcy. Searcy's essentially Donte Whitner at a much lower price. Same player, as far as I'm concerned.
  7. Raheem Morris? The guy had one good year sandwiched by two terrible years. He made it a point to befriend his players and act like they were his buddies. The team lacked discipline and after he was fired, numerous players publicly said that they welcomed a disciplinarian who would hold them accountable. At the end they liked Raheem but they didn't respect him or respond to his management style. Perhaps Morris will have learned a lesson from his first stint but I would be very unhappy if the Bills hired him as their next Head Coach.
  8. And listen to Harbaugh's quote: “"There is a very human side to this," Harbaugh said in a statement issued by the team. “Cam is my friend, he taught me a lot about coaching, and he is an outstanding coach. Personally, this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do as a coach. Cam has been a significant contributor to all of our successes over the past four, almost five, seasons. Deservedly, he is highly-regarded, and we owe thanks to him for what he did for the Ravens. “It’s not about fair or unfair, right or wrong. My responsibility is to the whole team and what’s best for them right now. We need a change. Our plan and our goals are to win games, win our division and get to the playoffs." The Ravens I've seen are one with a predictable and uninspired offense manned by a quarterback who has seemingly stopped improving. I bet they didn't like the playcalling but I think Flacco's lack of development is a big deal too.
  9. Kyle Moore closes down his side of the field so much better than Kelsay ever did. Gilmore!!!
  10. So we're gonna attempt a long field goal in inclement weather. But first let's burn a precious time out.
