  1. Not to pile on but I can't resist. The Bills traded up for Graham. Meanwhile Wilson looks great and TY Hilton of the Colts has outperformed Graham by numerous orders of magnitude.
  2. Good. This party is a disaster. Dorkington and his crowd left early and it looks like I'll be eating wings for lunch all this week.
  3. The Bills D is basically getting killed by one play. That one play is a big part of Seattle's offense and a play that is rapidly gaining popularity league-wide.
  4. Don't kid about stuff like that. I dunno. A vast grey area like blocking/charging and illegal vs legal picks in basketball. I don't know the rule but I'd coach my guys to run into the pick to bring it to the officials attention. Especially within the 5 yard zone.
  5. Nice play by Gilmore to fight through that pick and tackle Rice short of the first down. Not a fan of moral victories, but after that trick play I'll take it.
  6. Kyle Williams out of position on that TD run. Gotta keep Wilson in the pocket. Even I know that.
  7. BTW, I only voted for guys I've actually watched play. Not saying that should be a criteria but rather, just clarifying my choices.
  8. Allen was an artist down there. He alway picked the right hole and approach (high leap, submarine, bounce outside, cut inside). Csonka was the premier power only back in my lifetime. I never saw Bronko Nagurski play (thank god I'm not that old) but I imagine Csonka must have been similar in his ability to carry tacklers while simultaneously running other tacklers over. For those that remember Mike Alstott, Alstott couldn't hold a candle to Csonka. I would add that my recollection is that John Riggins was a great goal line back.
  9. Cleveland's defense is very underrated and they've only had Phil Taylor and Ahtyba Rubin for two games together. Also the game is in Cleveland so this is a really good test for the Redskins offense.
  10. That he can take a bunch of guys who should be good at power football and teach them finesse football?
  11. Excellent research. Thank you. Even Spiller's college coaches knew enough not to overburden him. While Spiller has been both under-tutilized and mis-utilized this season, there's no question in my mind that you'd see diminishing returns with a bigger workload. Twenty touches seems to be the upper limit IMO. And to repeat a much stated opinion, I wish the Bills would have signed a free agent RB this past offseason. Mike Tolbert, Cedric Benson, and Michael Bush were all available. The best time to make player moves is when there's not a crying need at that position. Too late now.
  12. I was thinking CB to replace the soon to be retired Terrence McGee.
  13. For better or worse, what it means is that "the message" from fans and media has been received. Put differently, Nix has been shown the error of his ways. The thing is that Nix is stating the obvious. The roster is clearly ready for the final penultimate piece so he's not really disclosing anything that other teams don't already know.
