  1. Well once he was given sideline access the cameras were gonna find him. As for the smiling/laughing part, I agree. In fact I generally wouldn't want him really being emotive in any way although again, that's mostly to satisfy my own sense of appropriate behavior.
  2. If Brown's Mom forgives him and asked the team to support Brent as she apparently did, I don't have a problem with him being on the sidelines. However his behavior on the sidelines would be important to me. I certainly would expect to see a sober and serious person out there. It probably sounds stupid for me to say this but whether or not he's feeling guilt and contrition, I'd like to see him at least display the appearance of these feelings. Hopefully he conducted himself appropriately.
  3. Yeah the legal machinations will take their own speed. More or less justice will prevail. But your comment about "hamming it up on the sidelines." What do you mean by that? Was he yucking it up?
  4. And I've said this many times but some of these personnel guys need to lay off the stopwatch. Some of these players run much slower when they've got a helmet, shoulder pads, football pants and cleats on with a ball tucked under their arm.
  5. Yes, ny33 admitted he was wrong over two weeks ago in this thread. He manned up and admitted that he was wrong without any reservations.
  6. I didn't like the pick at the time that it was made but wanted to give Nix/Gailey the benefit of the doubt. So far the pick looks pretty bad. To summarize all the points made in this thread: 1) The Bills could have picked TJ Graham's quarterback, Russell Wilson. 2) The Bills could have picked a better wide receiver in TY Hilton. 3) The Bills burned a 7th rounder to move up two spots to draft Graham. 4) When I watched video of Graham after he was drafted I was very underwhelmed by his game speed. Regardless of his stop watch time I (contrary to some others) didn't think he looked very fast. 5) As far as laughable, Nix in a GR interview last week mentioned Dalton and AJ Green who are ironically two guys the Bills could have drafted. In that same interview he mentioned that the team needed a fast, field-stretching receiver.
  7. I thought of him. He scored 4 of those against my Michigan Wolverines in the 1973 Rose Bowl. As a pro he scored a bunch of those too. It's amazing how high some of these guys can jump with full equipment and two hands on the ball.
  8. Great special teams player, has zero business being on the field on plays from scrimmage.
  9. My preseason prediction that Seattle was a team on the rise was met with mostly skepticism.
  10. Seems like we'll get to see Matt Flynn pretty soon. Maybe he can increase his market value against us.
  11. Just as an objective statement but yes, Seattle seems to be getting away with a lot of holding.
  12. I think he was swayed by the fact the game is being played indoors. It did look like he was hesitant though.
  13. I'd rather eat victory wings. In defeat they become a cold reminder of the weekend past, mocking my existence.
