  1. No Steve. As long as they win either this one or their final game they appear to be in: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/23/afc-playoff-teams-set-nfc-still-coming-into-focus/
  2. I've always liked that cute mustache of his.
  3. I remember you saying this. That's pretty cool. I've not met Jeff Fisher yet. Watta play by Willis!
  4. And Vernon Davis is a MAN. This rivalry could turn into a Steelers-Ravens type rivalry.
  5. Like I said, I liked what I saw from Seattle in 2010 when they beat the Saints in the first round. They've done a great job identifying college talent. As far as the secondary, Browner will be back by the time Sherman serves his suspension so they should be alright. Less than all hands on deck but alright. Yeah Stevie had a bad game this week but I think he's pretty fed up. I had a few beers with his step-dad in Glendale and he seemed to intimate that Stevie was frustrated back then. With a good QB, Stevie will show he's still got good upside. I think a lot of Bills fans don't properly appreciate him.
  6. I hate both those guys (even though I wanted us to hire Harbaugh) but I'm pulling for the 'hawks. The Niners fans for the most part are VERY fair weather. We moved here in 2002 and you never heard much about the Niners until this year. Plus I have close family in Seattle so there's that too.
  7. They don't have any excuses. The good news is that a really good coach could turn the team around in one season. (IMO)
  8. I work with Jeff Fisher's brother and he reminded me that Jeff started and lettered as a DB at USC with Ronnie Lott, Joey Browner, and Dennis Smith as his backfield mates. Those are 3 of the most hard hitting safeties in NFL history. But they were never teammates in the NFL.
  9. Yeah and you could see it coming two seasons ago.
  10. Boy did you see that one camera angle? That was a seriously high velocity hit. Here it is again. The sheer force was impressive but not a penalty IMO.
  11. Man between Chancellor, Sherman, and Browner (who's suspended), has anyone seen a bigger badder secondary than Seattle's? And the 4th guy is Earl Thomas, a high first round safety.
  12. Gore was RAGDOLLED by a DB!!! I've been looking forward to this game for weeks. Divisional rivals, two very physical teams, and two coaches who have a long history of hatred for each other.
  13. Okay so you have a master's degree. To what do you attribute your almost constant misspellings and general botching of the English language? Posting drunk? Just curious.
  14. "We have to stay the course here, for continuity sake."
  15. I don't think the point has been made in this thread yet so I'll say it: Hiring Polian as president would restore a great deal of credibility to this organization, credibility which has been missing since probably around the last year of Tom Donahoe's tenure. The reason the Bills have had a hard time hiring credible coaches and GMs is because of the lack of credibility in their front office. On the heels of the lease agreement, the hiring of Polian could do much to help restore the idea that the Bills are once again a team worth working for. JMO.
  16. OR, trade down and pick up extra picks to re-package for a subsequent move up. In other words, if the Bills are drafting 7th, possibly move back to 15 and trade back into the first at around 20.
  17. The other side of that is that it would possibly make those teams more likely to trade out of their pick to a team wanting to draft a quarterback.
  18. Must have been one of Buddy's tweets. This sounds like a likely scenario and one I'd be good with. I'm not so hot on Polian being GM as I would be as him as president. Also I hope that if Polian is hired that his son (Chris?) isn't hired into a position of power. That kid still needs to pay his dues.
  19. Stew Barber to be named Director of Player Personnel.
  20. Polian and Ralph buried the hatchet long ago. I think it was before Ralph's HOF Induction. I don't believe Ralph or Polian has any grudge remaining and I believe Polian has publicly stated that. Thanks Pooj! I think.
  21. Maybe this has something to do with Pegula? Seriously, I wonder if it is a Polian thing.
