  1. As soon as someone makes us an offer we can't refuse. Until then we'll bide our time. No rush. Exactly. The car has never seen snow but the curb weight is about 3100 lbs so it's heavy relative to its size, about 700 pounds heavier than a Mazda Miata for instance. Also it's got front wheel drive which is good in the snow but makes it not a true enthusiasts car. The Mazdas on the other hand care very much about the pure convention of sports cars. The one thing I'll give Audi is that their designers show excellent aesthetic judgement.
  2. The Oscars are on February 24th. I think all the nominations are already in.
  3. I wanted to get over there as it's another beauty of a day here. But wifey and I were showing her car to some buyers who were coming down from Sac town to see it. We sold the car so mission accomplished. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=95112&endYear=2003&modelCode1=TT&showcaseOwnerId=595911&startYear=2003&makeCode1=AUDI&sellerTypes=b&searchRadius=25&mmt=%5BAUDI%5BTT%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=338629416&listingIndex=1&Log=0
  4. Cool stuff. Either way, he's just a baby in NFL terms as I've pointed out before. A baby entering his 3rd NFL season. I really have no worries about Marcel. I think he'll make us happy.
  5. I'm just playing Rob. Sorry to be irreverant to the discussion.
  6. Yes. I worry that you're right. Also, please try to dress more warmly.
  7. Something Darwin? I'm not sure he played a down for us, much less start.
  8. Also I'm worried about you catching pneumonia with this cold weather. Hell, I'm worried about me catching pneumonia. When did I start worrying so much?
  9. At your age you shouldn't be in a hurry to do anything.
  10. I can't speak to his ability to catch the ball but Curtis Brown was a pretty good running back. I believe one year he led the Bills in rushing and was voted team MVP by his teammates. I remember much about Tom Ruud except the position he played. He had a pretty forgettable career. I know that he and second rounder Bob Nelson were dubbed "The Minnesota Twins" because while both played collegiately at Nebraska, they both played high school in Minnesota. And as was pointed out upthread, Nelson had a good career as a middle linebacker which makes me think Ruud played the outside. But for some reason I thought Ruud was a MLB too. His son Barrett has played the middle/inside as an NFL LB. I always thought of Leon-hard as more of a Kelso-type player because of his lack of size. And decent ball skills.
  11. Bring it on baby!!! Hell, why settle for a single? Have a double boob mascot! Do it right!
  12. There are some other good, proven 3-4 pass rushers available too. Shaun Phillips and Anthony Spencer to name two. And it's a really strong field for cornerbacks.
  13. My opinion on this matters very little as I'm not a Redskins fan and I'm not native American. I feel kind of the same way I do about the abortion issue. It's not really any of my business. It's an issue centered around a woman's body and I'm a guy. In my perfect world, the team voluntarily discusses changing the name with stake holders. It would be great if they voluntarily changed the name and much less great if they were coerced into changing the name. But I'm not a part of that conversation.
  14. As a person who's watched both Alex Smith and Fitz very closely (living here in the Bay Area and having NFL Sunday Ticket), I'd much rather have Alex Smith. First I think Smith is better than Fitz and second, Fitz has run his course here. It's time he and the Bills move on IMO.
  15. How do you solve a problem like Scott Chandler? How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
  16. Is "fickle" the word you're trying to use? Is Anthony Munoz the player you're talking about?
  17. Carwell was a great special teams player and blocker and gave the Bills some much-needed toughness. He backed down from no one. Eugene Marve was quite a good linebacker. Also Kinnebrew was definitely fullback-sized although he had nice speed. He was a pretty good player.
  18. Also there are men who naturally don't have any chest hair.
