  1. (I'll try to remember to laugh at your jokes too).
  2. Matt Moore's record as an NFL starter is 13-12. Those teams that Moore started for were a combined 10-29 in the games he didn't start (5-8, 4-7, 1-10, 0-4). http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MoorMa01.htm
  3. I don't appreciate you trying to chisel into my glory.
  4. Still haven't started really studying the QBs yet. I'm still in listening mode and not yet into watching. In years past, I did like Russell Wilson and Kaepernick. I liked Christian Ponder. I didn't like Gabbert. Most of the others I really didn't have an opinion of. Bill likes studying blockers. I like studying pass rushers. I was very wrong about Everette Brown but I was right about Aldon Smith. I still believe that Robert Quinn, Nick Perry, and Adrian Branch are going to be premier pass rushers. I can't believe all the good pass rushers and quarterbacks the Bills have passed on in recent years.
  5. 3. He absolutely doesn't need the money and would rather cut his employer the discount so that they can continue to provide talented teammates for him so that he can continue to play for another Super Bowl title. Brady's net worth: http://www.therichest.org/celebnetworth/athletes/nfl/tom-brady-net-worth/ Giselle's net worth: http://www.therichest.org/celebnetworth/celeb/model/gisele-bundchen-net-worth/
  6. Thank you! I might have to have this etched in stone!
  7. Mediocrity personified. He's an insult to football fans and to professional sports writers. If I was highly under-talented like Walker is, I would at least try to make up for it by, you know, working hard? In fact talent aside, there's never an excuse for being lazy. It's just more disappointing when a person is untalented and is lazy. James Walker = The poster boy for collecting a paycheck.
  8. LMAO!!! You misread the writer's intent. It was a compliment. And yet Farrar never mentioned him. Wilson is at the combine, isn't he? These same scouts? This piece was written by Doug Farrar. You're tilting at windmills a bit here. And finally at #30, the obvious question was asked. Who thinks it's gospel? It's simply the basis for a conversation. Nick Florence. How did he play in the second half?
  9. The question then is what conclusion can be drawn from his 40 time?
  10. I understand the intent of the poll but ultimately it comes down to an individual player, not a position group AFAIC. But I did vote for C.
  11. I like your idea. It makes sense and it seems like this year lends itself to this strategy much more than recent years. On a tangent, I actually do this in fantasy football. I had Manning-Decker last year (someone nabbed Thomas before I could grab him) and the two years previous I had Ryan-Roddy White.
  12. A fossil tree? Yes. They grow in the Petrified Forest.
  13. Never was a Zubaz guy but it was very cool of you to post that here.
  14. The second part of his answer would be, "not that there's anything wrong with that." Not that there's anything wrong with that. Based on median and mean averages, it looks like Manti's in the slower half of the 12 ILBs that ran. However his 10 yard split was pretty good as was his shuttle. His expected average 40 times mean that he's not gonna be an elite 3-down linebacker. But if he has the instincts there's no reason he can't be a good 2-down linebacker. http://footballsfuture.com/2013/combine/ilb.html The actual words are almost immaterial IMO. Interviewers will be looking at the facial expressions, body language, tone of voice, more than the words. At 4.80 in the forty, you are correct.
  15. Regime change aside, I don't see the Browns releasing Weeden.
  16. Did the dream at least include some cheerleaders at the signing?
  17. On the other hand, the Bills were going nowhere last year and even in a best-case scenario, they go 8-8 or 9-7 and then what? Chan's still head coach and the program is stuck in neutral. In retrospect, Wilson actually did the organization a favor by failing to secure those wins. I'm glad he was here last year and I'm glad he's moved on.
