  1. I agree that if Geno makes it to #8 that we take him. I also agree that it's unlikely that he'll be there at #8.
  2. Whoops. Shouldna done it in my head. The old noggin ain't what it used to be.
  3. Ugh. Too much refined sugar. That stuff's no good for you. Cheerios or Rice Krispies (oats or rice). No refined sugar and no wheat flour. Sweeten it up with berries. Even though they contain sugar they also have fiber and anti-oxidant vitamins. I wonder what kind of cereal Nassib eats?
  4. OMG dude. Relax. Please. I agree. Should happen soon. The only thing that gives me pause is why it hasn't happened already.
  5. Scott would seem to be a good fit with the offense of new Eagles coach Chip Kelly, who offered Scott a scholarship to Oregon after the quarterback had already committed to Arizona. Scott said other teams expressing the most interest at this point include Arizona, Seattle, Washington, Buffalo, Jacksonsville and San Diego. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/arizona-qb-scott-sharp-high-230010198--nfl.html
  6. The guy I used to work for made bows of osage and mulberry that he harvested. He made shafts out of viburnum and cedar. He learned how to flint knap arrowheads. He laminated his "self bows" (and the occasional recurve) with deer ligament. He scouted and killed any buck or doe that he had a good shot at and knew he wouldn't miss and only wound because his effective range was only about 25 yards. He and his family ate everything that he killed. He killed white tail, mulies, caribou, and elk with his bows. He never went trophy hunting. Big game safari hunters remind me of those "mountaineers" who have sherpas pull them to the summit of Everest. edit: Last time I talked to him he was looking to go spear hunting for wild boar. Yeah, he's a real hunter. This is a good question. Unfortunately I can't think of a single good reason. Maybe some of the others can enlighten me?
  7. I flunked Deductive Logic in college so it was hard for me to follow his reasoning.
  8. The only time I saw him play was his epic performance in the Cotton Bowl when he led the Aggies' destruction of the #11 Sooners and got the MVP. I was impressed with how he ran to certain spots in the backfield to create unique passing angles. I'd never really seen that before. I hate to say it in relation to football but it was almost artistic. I think he could be a good NFL quarterback.
  9. For public vandalism. He was caught throwing shyt against a wall.
  10. Thank you for speaking to my questions about Manuel's college coaches. Whether Bills fans appreciate it or not, Marrone is a Sean Payton protege and Nate Hackett is a Paul Hackett protege meaning both of them have great coaching pedigrees learning from NFL offensive masterminds. More likely than not, Nassib had much better offensive coaching at Syracuse than Manuel did at FSU.
  11. I was more thinking of how Jackson plays like Adrian Peterson, never giving up on even one single play even though he's been on horrible teams his entire career. Never complaining, just playing hard all the time. Then I think of Ridley getting hit and fumbling the ball in the AFC Championship game loss to the Ravens.
  12. He's similar to Flutie but a lot more talented I think. But next year's QB crop looks very strong so I agree it's kind of silly to pin all hopes on this one guy. McCarron and Boyd were unbelievably good in their bowl games. Bridgewater is supposed to be a very special player. But I still want the Bills to draft a QB this year.
  13. You said "He's gonna suck as a pro... he doesn't pass well enough." The guy is barely 20 years old, completed 68.5% of his passes and averaged 8.5 yards per attempt. I don't know how you could speak so assuredly. We can't possibly project how well he'll pass the ball even one year from now, much less 2-3.
  14. Great point. A third rounder who was a bit undersized and had a very average arm? I'm sure both Montana and Young feel very fortunate to have been coached by Bill Walsh.
  15. So you don't think he's gonna improve anymore? You do realize he turned 20 years old just 3 months ago?
  16. Hard to say where he'll end up but Atlanta's been the most rumored destination for Steven Jackson.
  17. He could also develop into a great pocket passer. He's tall and has a rocket arm.
  18. I'm just guessing. Like I said, some folks pay more and some pay less. The official price for Sunday Ticket last year was $299. On a sidenote, the only reason I have DirecTV is because of the Sunday Ticket.
  19. I don't think this is a valid statement/criticism. We have zero true knowledge as to how good his coaching under Jimbo Fisher and staff was. What if he received bad coaching? All of these quarterbacks performed in different circumstances. What if Nassib had much better coaching under Marrone and Hackett than EJ did at Florida State? Also on what do you base your criticism of his leadership qualities?
