  1. That doesn't mean building a stadium in Niagara Falls would have any impact on Buffalo development. Traffic permitting, I can drive from Buffalo City Hall to Ralph Wilson Stadium in about 20 minutes. The only way a stadium has a positive impact on the City of Buffalo is if it's in the City of Buffalo.
  2. I watched all of Dysert's games from this season. Whatever his 40 time, he's plenty mobile enough. Certainly noticeably more mobile and quick than Nassib. The difference in the quality of their opponents is pretty much negligible IMO. I tend to feel the same way. I have to re-watch Nassib and Barkley but as many have been saying, these guys all seem to have low ceilings. From a purely physical standpoint the same could probably be said for Tyler Wilson although I like his intangibles the best. Yeah the 40 time is probably the least important measurable for a QB.
  3. I didn't say Johnson was being honest. I was saying the person who reported on it was being honest. The Yahoo writer, Kevin Kaduk. He wrote: She may not fit society's traditional definition of beautiful but she's clearly beautiful to the only person whose opinion matters — Vince Wilfork.
  4. F) Went to the optometrist with Leodis McKelvin and found out that Leodis is finally getting a long overdue prescription for eyewear.
  5. Also, 1) What are his opinions on monotremes? 2) If he saw a large spider laying on its back struggling helplessly, what would he do? 3) Would he rather play in rain or snow? 4) What's his favorite movie to watch with a girl?
  6. Damnit!!! Why do you continue to harass me with true facts?
  7. Good job. Like you said, low cost and good potential. I didn't know that. That would certainly explain why no one has talked about reserving cap space for in-season injuries.
  8. True. Though a very different style of runner, his breakdowns are probably similar to Barry Sanders'.
  9. LOL, I guess this confirms what we all kinda know: That "Andy" Corp is just a camp body.
  10. The other point which is consistently overlooked in our salary cap discussions is that teams have to carry a salary cap buffer through the season because due to injuries, all teams end up signing guys that weren't on the opening day roster. Not sure how much teams budget for in-season injury replacements but it's gotta be several million dollars.
  11. So this goes back to one of your earlier threads where I and several others commented on Draftek's undervaluing of quarterbacks. As I recall you didn't return to that thread after that point was made. Now you have Geno Smith lasting till pick #23. So again (seeing as you're promoting your product), don't you think Draftek undervalues quarterbacks? I think it's a pretty fair question.
  12. The thing is though, I would say quarterback foot speed is probably the least important factor in grading a quarterback's NFL-worthiness. Defending the other viewpoint, the difference is that the Manning brothers have "elite arm talent" whereas Dysert, Nassib, and Barkley do not.
  13. As Doc asks, rather than speak about a hypothetical receiver we could replace Smith with, why don't we start naming names? We know who's available out there.
  14. I disagree. Bianca clearly does not fit society's traditional definition of beautiful. I thought it was an adroit and honest statement. He's a very good former Patriots linebacker who retired due to multiple concussions. I seem to remember him being one of the early players to sue the league for his injuries. Me too:
  15. People can try to understand the other's point of confusion or they can not try. It's always a choice.
  16. Yes, in spite of the outcry for Nelson, he's still a free agent/medical question mark. Because Nelson is incapable of playing football now, his inclusion in this conversation is not really relevant, IMO. Well this is a good point. I know he's due a $500,000 roster bonus but I don't know when that bonus is due.
  17. Because his Pro Day was last Thursday so it was entirely plausible (at least to me) that the Bills had dinner with him that night and had a private workout the following day. Also because it was speculated that Smith would visit Orchard Park for his private workout but apparently the private workout took place in Morgantown, one week after the Bills made a previous visit there.
  18. I think he's a very talented player who was mis-utilized by the Bills. I think that if given the ability to play just one position that he could become an excellent wide receiver (remember that great jump ball TD reception against the Jets?) or an excellent running back. He might even be an effective read option QB. People like to dwell on the ugly interception he threw in his only pass attempt as a Bill but he was a 4-year starter as Missouri's QB and had a very decorated college career. Also his size and measurables place him alongside Adrian Peterson except he's a tad slower.
