  1. That's a great question. Intuitively you would say B. Also, Levitre was a great pass protector. But your implication speaks loudly. We still have very little idea what this offense will look like.
  2. Anyways, EJ and Geno definitely come off as very different personalities.
  3. True. It seems in the Nix tenure though that he favors big maulers and less so, leverage, footwork, mobile guys like Levitre. Either way, while optimistic as usual, there's a chance that Young and Brown will not make good guards, although Brown played well at center in relief. My specific concern is that Brown is 6'7" and Young is 6'8". The both originated as tackles. If you look around the NFL, you don't see too many interior O-linemen of that height.
  4. I think the odd players out are Dickerson (he is listed as a WR now, correct?) and Easley. I think Brad Smith makes the team. Anyways after years of having a pea shooter offense I'm looking forward to watching a QB with a big arm who can make all the throws operate with an arsenal which will allow him to attack the entire field. I think we'll be seeing more "heaving of the rock" and taking big shots downfield than we have since the Losman to Evans season of 2006. That will be very cathartic after having to watch Fitz and Company's bad impersonation of a deep passing attack.
  5. They might use that wide receiver motion to keep defenses honest and reveal coverages. If so, every once in a great while they would hand the ball to the motion receiver on a flat reverse.
  6. Sounds similar to the TJ Graham-TY Hilton "snafu."
  7. I don't recall. I know he was a tackle at Notre Dame. The one odd thing about Nix's propensity to move tackles to guard is that not all tackles have the skillset to play guard. It's not the same position and there are probably tackles who don't play with the proper knee bend, etc to play guard. Both Young and Brown are quite tall for guards.
  8. The Bills were probably hoping for Sturgis and had to settle for Hopkins.
  9. You're right. We didn't draft a Michael Jasper this year.
  10. As I speculated upthread, Dansby probably came in hoping for $4 million per and the Bills probably weren't willing to go much past $2 million. I'm guessing they've whittled down the difference but not to the point of agreement.
  11. For a person of his height he has very long arms along with an explosive vertical jump and broad jump: http://footballsfuture.com/2013/combine/te.html Don't know if it translates to being a football player but I liked his limited video.
  12. This is correct and has already been addressed in the other Zebrie Sanders to guard thread. The Bills said last week that Sanders was a tackle and that Young and Brown were inside players. We knew this about Brown already as he has played significant snaps at center for the Bills. The revelation was that Sam Young was moving inside. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/157329-zebrie-sanders-at-guard/
  13. And those fans would be very misinformed. Stats are often misleading but you cannot have a career completion percentage of 66.9% at the same time as you have a career yards per attempt of 8.6 without being accurate. I should also point out that there were no Florida State receivers or tight ends drafted this year. Back to the thread topic, Chris Gragg.
  14. We don't like arguing. Why do you always have to stir up trouble?
  15. Standard pallet forklift (the type one would find in a warehouse situation)? In spite of their ridiculous mass per volume, NO. When you get into Gradall's which are used at construction site to move materials (including pallets) YES. Also there are forklifts that are used to move shipping containers which are built on heavy machinery platforms.
  16. There goes the Central New York ticket sales. The ticket office must be pissed off. After Friday night in his presser in answer to a question about Nassib, Marrone talked about all kids he coached at Syracuse and how strongly he felt about all of them. He actually mentioned Jamarco Thomas by name, which I thought meant that the Bills didn't have high on their board. I felt that Marrone wouldn't have mentioned any players that the Bills had an interest in. My theory is that Nix's collaboration with Marrone is different than with Gailey. This theory is that Gailey made it clear that he didn't want to deal with any troublemakers while Marrone was willing to consider some players with checkered pasts. I think it's more Marrone than it is Whaley. JMO.
  17. Yes but they said last week that Sanders was strictly a tackle. If I recall, it seemed like they mentioned Sam Young to guard.
  18. Interesting read, EA. It made me think of: 1) Possible consumer video game 2) Possible QB testing technology 3) Possible QB training technology Like some crazy, extremely complex Wii game.
  19. FWIW, in one of his interviews Marrone alluded to writing up scouting reports on prospects. With all NFL teams this is a collaborative process where the GM tries to get players the coaches see as good fits. There is no chance of success without a unified vision. Looking back, it seems Nix and Gailey had a bit of a disconnect with some of the players Nix brought in.
  20. Is it we or your? You are what you've always been. Don't let it ruin your weekend.
