Jones has been in control of the Cowboys since he bought the team (and fired Tex Schramm) in 1989 but assumed total control of football operations when he fired Jimmy Johnson in 1994. On top of that some argue that Switzer's Super Bowl win was accomplished with Jimmy Johnson's players. It might be more indicative of Jones' football acumen to track his won-lost record back to 1995.

McKelvin returned 7 punts for TDs in college and as a pro he has 39 returns for 3 TDs and a 16.3 yard average. McKelvin is a superior punt returner by any measure. If you tried being objective, your harangues might have a bit more credibility.
