  1. M. Williams K. Williams M. Dareus S. Merriman J. Byrd S. Levitre S. Johnson F. Jackson 8 players
  2. Charlotte NC, grew up in West Seneca...
  3. If it was only a cracked rib. I think the reports were saying Fitz broke 4 ribs. Do you know how hard it is to even breathe when you have broken ribs. I give Fitz credit for being tough but after watching him play I think it was obvious Gailey made a poor decision on keeping him out there. Ask Lindy Ruff how it feels to break ribs. He couldn't even coach behind the bench until he healed up and here Fitzy is running for first downs, and takng sacks. Fitzy is one tough QB...
  4. I was just thinking that we would still address our situation at tackle and we would get what most are saying is a can't miss stud at RB. He would bring a different dimension to our backfield. When Jackson is done playing in a few more years Trent is the guy who can be a main back and carry the rock 25 times a game. Gailey has even said that Spiller is not an every down back. Hell, he even took him out when Jackson was injured in all goaline situations.
  5. I wrote this is another thread yesterday and was wondering what Bills fans think. First I would like to say that I am a Spiller fan so it's not that I am bashing on him. I would like to see the Bills package Spiller and maybe a 3rd round pick for someones late 1st round selection. Then at the #10 pick the Bills select Trent Richardson out of Bama. After that I would select an offensive tackle later in the first round. Spiller will never fully be used because Freddy is the better back and probably will play another 3 years or so. Trent would compliment Freddy and eventually be the main back. Trent would be awesome in short yardage and for goaline situations. It would also be great to add a smash mouth back to mix things up. If we select a tackle later in the first round we then get value. If we take one at #10 it would be a reach. I like Spiller but I would take a top tackle and big Trent in a second if possible. What do you guys think?
  6. I didn't say it would happen but in my opinion it would be the best situation for the Bills. I'm interested in what you think may happen on draft day.
  7. I will not have a problem if they go with Keuchly but I couldn't disagree more about what you said about Floyd. You stated that "You don't draft a WR at #10 to get 6 potential touches per game. So, I rule out Floyd." Add the numbers up 6 catches a game gets you 96 catches and a trip to the pro-bowl. If he catches 96 balls he probably would have at least 8 touchdowns and several game breaking plays that swing a game. If you told me that Floyd would catch 6 a game I would draft him in a second. When you say 6 potential touches I'm thinking 6 potential catches. Here's my best scenario for draft day: We trade Spiller and another pick "prob a 3rd" and take someones late first round pick. We draft big Trent from Bama with pick #10 and with the late first round pick we take an offensive tackle. How awesome would that be? Spiller will never be maxed out here with Freddy being the better back and we'll get a bruising smash mouth runner to compliment Freddy, especially on short yardage plays and inside the 10 yard line. We also get better value for an offensive tackle instead of reaching for one at #10.
  8. Fitz is a bit of a stretch but until he supposely hurt his ribs every sports station in the nation was saying he was having a pro bowl type year. This would be made for the movies if it were to come true. Ralphs last game he ever goes to is the Bills beating the Packers in next years super bowl. I would love to see him receive the Vince Lombardi trophy.
  9. Here's a bold prediction. Last year no pro bowlers, this year 8. Fitz Levitre Johnson Jackson Dareus K.Williams M.Williams Byrd I would love to see Merriman, Wood, and Barnett join this group.
  10. I would not rule out a corner with the first pick. I think they will go with an OT in round 1 and probably a corner or linebacker in round 2. They are very weak at linebacker and corner, lacking quality and depth. Corner in not a fan favorite for a high round pick but Mckelvin has been awful and Terrence has been injury prone.
  11. Wow dude, ok! The NFL is the only league that plays 16 games, including 4 pre-season games. He also did not receive the type of beating he has had thrown at him in the NFL when he played arena or NFL Europe. Besides that he has never really been the go to guy for an entire season in the NFL so his carries are very low. Last year even though he was the number one guy he didn't play a full season. So yes, his legs are much fresher than most starting NFL backs in the NFL. AND "NO" he doesn't have the same mileage! sorry bud, but good try...
  12. Are you kidding me??? Freddy "ALL DAY" He is the better runner, the better blocker, the better back on the goal line and an at least an equal in the passing game. His legs are fresh for 31 because he has not carried the ball that much. I would prefer someone who has proved his worth over someone who might one day be a very good player. Give me 3 or 4 more years of Freddy and then I would just find another guy because backs are a dime a dozen. So, if given the choice it's a no brainer, I'll take Freddy the 2012-13 pro bowler.
  13. I would love this pick in the second round.
  14. I would love to see Carrington come in to his own and become a dominant player for us but anyone who thinks he outplayed Kelsay last year wasn't watching the same games as me. Kelsay had a much improved season after looking totally out of place the year before. Kelsay is not a linebacker but when his hand is down in the dirt he is a good run defender and an average rusher. I thought Kelsay was one of our most steady players last year on the defensive side of the ball. I think it's crazy when people say he had a bad year last year and that he now needs to be cut. Carrington was having a hard time even getting snaps and Gailey mentioned on more than one occasion that his play has been inconsistent. I think people just like to make trades, see cuts, and love to call for changes but Kelsay was a steady and slightly above average player for us and that's not a bad thing. Like I said, I hope Carrington gets it right this season because if he doesn't his days might be numbered in Buffalo. I'm pulling for him.
  15. I have always believed Jimbo will be part of the next ownwership team. He probably told him that he'll soon be his boss, no doubt in my mind.
  16. They are waiting for T.O. to fly in to town so he could return the key to the city. T.O. had to get forwarded the money because he is broke and couldn't afford a ticket. This is the reason for the hold up.
  17. I have my students doing book work as I am pretending to work on grades at my computer. One eye on the door in case the principal walk in...
  18. I have no more nails, need some bandaids...
  19. If Mario signs the city of Buffalo will be pumped with the positive energy juice for a very long time and he will get a huge ovation and roar when they announce his name last as he comes out the tunnel for his first home game. If he doesn't sign he will be forever booed and hated everytime he steps in to the Ralph. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sign!!!
  20. Fred will average 10 more carries than Spiller a game as long as he stays healthy. Spiller got better but he is no Fred Jackson. He's not the leader, the blocker, or the game changer that Jackson is and Jackson will get the tough yards and goaline carries. I will say it again, Chan said that he is to small to get goaline touches and is to small to be the main back. Those are not my words...
  21. Chan has already gone on record to say CJ Spiller is not an every down back and that he is to small to fill that role. He also took him out in all goal line situations although I know that doesn't account for much yardage. If Spiller is on the sidelines he cannot get 1,000 yards. I think there's a better chance of Jackson running for 1,600 yards then there is for Spiller to get 1,000. No way in hell, Jackson will get the bulk of the touches and he proved he is more than worthy...
  22. Wow Adam you obviously do not understand what a great player Freddy is. He is a hell of a blocker, he runs with power and quickness, he's allusive and he can catch the ball coming out of the backfield. Believe me, EVERY team game plans around him. He averaged 5.5 yards per carry and was a top 3 candidate for MVP of the NFL before he got hurt. He also had a solid chance at being the leading rusher and all purpose guy in the league. He was a shoe in for the Pro Bowl. If you are not high on his ability and talent then I can not take you seriously as a blogger. If you don't think Freddy is a game changer then you don't know much about football; end of story...
