Well Jacksonville will take a look at Trent this week.....I guess most of us think we know how that comes out...but who knows. In any event, I kind of wish Fitz would get a "hang nail" on his throwing hand on Saturday, and we could audition Brohm against the Jet JV's. why not, others will be doing it as reported elsewhere. After seening that kid from Minnesota last night, a QB drafted to be a receiver play....I am beginning to think that pro QB's are where you find them...the Vikes did not know about this kid, and he turns out to be a player/QB. I would not be surprised to see this kid start at QB next year for the Vikes. So, there is always the Bradford example...but, there is the JaMarcus Russel example. Personally, I want a killer DE in the first round.

Actually, it could be worse. I recall in the 70's, when Miami had the great Czonka/Morris running teams...the Fish came into the Ralph (called something else then) Miami (Bob Griese) only threw 6 passes all day. And the Bills were killed. Today, at least, we do force them to throw some.....so I have seen worse...and we are not quite that bad yet. But wait, there is always next year......

Yes, Fitz had a really bad day, and it is to bad they did not try the relief pitcher..Brohm We really don't know about him.....and we could have found out if her is/was as bad as Fitz on this day. You know, in baseball, its no sin to bring in a reief pitcher......I wonder why Chan did not see it was out of hand by one series into the second half (yeh, but remember the second half at Cinci) anyhow, got some JV's out there in other positions...RG?RT, why not try out theJV QB and see if he can do it with the big boys.

You have a point here....KC is going great this year...and guess who is running the O and D...none other than Charlie Weiss and Romeo Crennel...yep,,,old Patriot coaches. (who failed as head coaches, but who cares)

I don't agreed here. He has the credentials....and showed great stuff in preseason. Good enough, in fact, for Buddy and Chan to cut their own 7th round draft choice (Brown) Brown was miffed, and did not sign to the practice squad until October, when Edwards was canned, and Brown discovered he wasn't loved elsewhere in the league. So, I disagee Brohm is not starter material. He is just a couple of years behind Fitz in development...whereas Brown is probabily more than a couple away. But, they would and could play is Fitz goes down. Lets hope that doesn't happen. But, as another guy says above, given a blowout in either direction, give those boys a shot....develope the alternatives at QB a little, and get information to help your decisions at draft time.

Well, I am a long time season ticket holder, and I prefer 1pm Sunday games. Leave me out of all the special broadcasts, especially those from "the Ralph" ! The late starts disadvantage season ticket holders from out of the immediate area (that is not me) and it gets really cold at night, especially in November and December. So, I say, skip the national exposure...and gain your respect by WINNING. Unfortuantely, the winning does bring the TV exposure. Oh well

Actually, I wonder how they will play this.....I don't think any of us knows about Brohm or Brown...they haven't see the field this year. But, after a year (or so wrt Brown) Brohm has thrown a lot of passes with Chan watching...so this isn't like thye are coming into the draft not knowing anything. I would not be surprised if they signed a free agent QB for camp, but would not rule out status unchanged next year at QB...and spend the draft choices on needed guys in the trenches. We have been whupped in the trenchs by all the good teams. And, if there is another guy like that Hillis in Cleveland...better get one of those too.

Yes, this hits the nail on the head. Ralph and Marv drafted Trent and Ralph felt "ownership" in that selection. I have said all along that Ralph call the short on Trent getting another chance. Thank god only two games worth.

Yep He is a B grade player, never an A in 5 years. Not a miss as a draft choice, but not playing up to #8 in the first round, says me. The Bills have safties....Scott, Byrd, Wilson....Bills should not overpay...but offer fair pay. If Donte has delusions...let him pursue them.......maybe somebody will overpay...and that would be in his best interest.

The same Levi they cut in favor of Brohm? We don't know about Brohm...never a chance to start. We don't know about Levi...same....but, we do know, that Chan shipped Levi out of town rather than cut Brohm. Weren't you following the same team this summer?

McKelvin is essentially in his second year...lost a year to injury. Incredible physical talent. And, looks like he belongs out there. Yes, he has made mistakes, but that is OK...great season to do that. And, I expect him to start next year...either opposite McGee (Florence a free agent) or with Florence...if the Bills can resign him. No way to is a McCargo or Maybin situation...not even close. Been watching the Bills for 50 years (yeh, grey hair), I like what McKelvin is GOING TO BE. The man has all pro potential...all of you out there with short fuses...put them OUT!

I hope none, I like my football on Sunday at 1:00pm. Night games in the Nov/Dec timeframe are really cold...and out of town fnas are disadvantaged. I for one don't need the night exposure...better in the daylight. (one season ticket holders opionion) As bad as Dallas is these days, I wonder if having america's team get the lowly Bills might satisfy the scheduling magnets who like to please.Just saying..

I thought his helmet hit Fitz facemask...that makes it h to h ....and a suspension is a distinct possibility.

Never said Vick couldn't play He is just a poor excuse for a human....and I won't pay to see him play!! And maybe he has grown up. But, he is still a convicted criminal...and not a good example for our youth. Unfortunately, the ownership dictated to Chan & company that Edwards would get another shot. It was clear to many that Edwards was a bust....I believe this was Ralph Wilson meddling. I respect Mr Wilson for the 50 years of football he has brought to Buffalo, but he was hobbying here, and disenchanfranchasied Chan on who was #1. Only difference was that Chan dumped Edwards after two games...took Dick Jaraun half the season last year to figure it out.

Woods will be fine, the least of the Bills problems, assuming of course, the leg is really OK. He needs to be pain free and able to practice all week, however. He is not, apparently, yet able to do that.
