  1. Now it makes sense why we cut George Wilson.... Idiot @##&*@ franchise
  2. Regardless of who starts Bellicheck has probably moved onto week two this is his week one prep "Tom we're gonna throw the ball all day and these these "corners"..." Some unknow Pats receiver is going to go Stephen Hill on us
  3. Nobody is saying that there were a bunch of studs There was however a lot of decent DB's available for cheap Culliver gets hurt in SF..no biggie ..they signed Nmandi for dirt..he can play slot cover and nickel for them We lose a DB and like a house of cards we are completly exposed And for the record NOBODY is looking at our LB roster and saying "yeah that's a strength"
  4. Can't understand this clubs allergic reaction to having depth at all positions and hence the abiltiy to field a competitive team for a 16 game season. The deepest CB free agent pool in the short history of free agency and we ....overpay for Leodis McKelvin Go take a look at the CB's that signed in the market for less of near to the guaranteed money Leodis got. For reasons unknown we cut two players who took significant snaps on defence, Wilson and Barnett, and replace them with.......Manny Lawson But we'll shoe horn in a failed CB into the safety slot vacated by a servicable George Wilson and call it a day Our linebacking corp is now a rookie, a 2nd yr unproven player who may have a drug suspension and a player on his 3rd team And to top it all off we decide not to pay big bucks to our really good guard and decide to replace his spot with .............a giant nothing Oh and we pissed off our star safety I'm not saying the season is a wash, I think we can can field a pretty decent starting 22 but after you put a magnifying glass to the roster you see holes at areas WE created; safety, LB and Left Guard and absolute weakness in the backup roster
  5. Tuel was horriawful How many 3rd downs did he throw a 4 yard check down on?
  6. I agree ..what is the Gilmour status?
  7. He's playing well..could make the 53
  8. Fine Levitre was overpriced but shouldn't you have a plan to replace him? The Bills love staring great big obvious issues right in the face and respond via blank stare
  9. Zach Chibane - Guard - Syracuse
  10. Kevin Norrell - WR Izaan Cross - DT - Georgia Tech
  11. Bingo Enough with the playing games, trading down, waiting for next year, you can't win in the NFL without a QB, period Keep throwing darts until we pop the balloon Frankly I'd like to see the Bills invest a 1st and a 3rd in the position, if we miss on the picks, draft another one next year and hence forth When we get our QB then we can start to leave the woods and actually build a team worth watching
  12. Loved his balls hated his arm
  13. Robert Royal to visit Bills Fitz cut!!
  14. I don't understand how this is embarrassing Who wants their private conversations made public? Nix didn't say anything that was a shock or even mean-spirited or unfair If anytjing it was an interesting slice into the life of an NFL GM
  15. I'm saying it takes a truly talented front office to negotiate long term deals with players who are close to the top of their position. When you are signing a UDFA who stole a roster spot through hard work and a great camp to an extension I'm not that impressed, all the leverage is with the front office in those situations. The time to sign talented players is not 7 days beforer they hot complete free agency
  16. Get Serious Wow they signed up 3 UDFA that they got of the street and a 7th round QB that they backed up a garbage truck full of cash to his front door after 4 decent games Real bunch of capologists and long term planners
  17. Exactly Idiot franchises draft players, see them develop into effective starters and then let them wal four years later
  18. Your not grasping how it works. March 4th is tag deadline The Bills only hope for keeping Levitre is the tag, he's not going to negotiate and sign a deal 8 days away from Free agency. He's going to let the deadline come and see what suitors are out there so that the Bills will be compelting against high cash and better teams. Byrd's camp indicated a willingness to sign a LT deal, maybe it was BS but the strategy to keep both was fairly clear. Sign Byrd to a LT deal which probably would require an overpay (which I'm fine with) and then tag Levitre
  19. Why? Non-exclusive for a guard is 8.5 million To me if the choice is between long terming Byrd, transition tag for Levitre and cutting Fitzpatrick or franchising Byrd, losing Levitre and keeping an 8 million dollar QB who has turned over the ball the 2nd most times in the last 3 years of NFL play? hmmmm
  20. Levitre has been clear he wants to test the market, the only strategy that keeps both is getting a long term deal done with Byrd and then franchising Levitre
  21. Awesome plan! Meanwhile the holes that have remained unfilled for the past 3 years (LB, WR...) get to be filled with 4th and 5th rounders. It's akin to a person starving on a desolate island chopping off their foot for supper
  22. More water treading for one of the worst run franchises in sport Now we can say goodbye to our stud guard and we get a draft a replacement in the 2nd/3rd round. The perfect metaphor for this franchise is someone digging a hole only to use the dirt to fill a hole right beside it
  23. Rated the 6th best safety in coverage last year by PFF Not sure why this was a needed move Same old organization, dumping players before we have actual replacements and creating holes where there were none yesterday. Reminds me of when we got rid of Fletcher and Spikes becasue they were too old to play - 6 years ago
  24. Finally some BALLS Gailey...
