  1. this. just execute and play to win. hiding in a huddle for an extra 10 seconds would have accomplished nothing I thought our little expansion team did pretty well against the Pats. Gonna be a long season, we lose a starter for 2 months every week it will get even longer
  2. This is a good game to go to. I am coming for the Ravens weekend. But this weekend should be great. The expansion team might have a good shot at the Panthers this week. Watched some of the Panthers/Seahawks replay and Panthers can be had. Cam still throws it where he shouldn't. Nice weather. Go. I was planning on it but my friend's tailgate is not happening this weeks game. Tells you where my head is. Guess I'm just like everyone else... if the tailgate is not....
  3. and with Goodwin out, we better be glad we have another sprinter on the roster.. TJ. Plus Easley gets his shot ... finally. One thing we have in spades in WRs
  4. I'd take him on my team tomorrow. He is an out and out baller. And a quality person.
  5. After what I saw from Philly last night, Marrone's expansion team can run the hurry up all day until they perfect it. That was an awesome display by the eggles last night. OMG.
  6. On paper its over at halftime, but the game is played on the field. We shall see. Have fun all. The tailgate should be great today. I'll be enjoying the day, get some updates on the phone and watch the replay (if it's watchable).
  7. yep. get the secondary back for 2nd half of season. Maybe Hairston. Don't lose any more lineman. Maybe go .500 for last eight games . Or it all craps out and we draft Teddy Bridgewater and try again. Who knows. This team will probably be lousy, but who knows, that's why they play the games.
  8. my heart wants 23-20 Bills. my head screams 27- 17 Pats (best case). we shall see.
  9. There's that word again... hope. I hope this, I hope that. I hope you are right. My brain says they will get a few more IR injuries and totally poop the bed this year, but I hope I am wrong. go bills.
  10. +1. Like most pro bowl calibre Bills players of the past 15 years, they just want out of this franchise and go somewhere and win. And Parker just adds fuel to the fire. Is what it is until the Bills start winning, which hopefully starts sooner rather than later. Kind of a catch-22, self fulfilling prophesy, though. And top players are not betting on the Bills winning anytime soon. Parker is a cancer, but he is just doing his job, trying to get the player top long ten guaranteed $$$. the foot injury may blow up Byrd/Parkers entire strategy, however.....
  11. I would say TE is the least of the Bills problems right now.
  12. He is as good as gone. Get Aaron Williams or someone in there and see how they do. Shame they are stuck with franchise tag salary this year. What a waste of $$ for a guy who probably won't even play to a high level this year if at all. Funny business this NFL. Always kicks the Bills in the arse. This team used all its good luck up in the late 80's then they hit the jackpot with Bennett, Thomas, Lofton, et al. Payback is a b--ch I guess.
  13. We shall see. Hard to imagine this game not being nearly unwatchable from a Bills fan perspective, but hey, get EJ in there and let the 5th (or is it 6th... 10th?) rebuilding process begin I guess.
  14. you'll all be calling for his head by week 8 when this expansion team is 2-6.
  15. Sure sounds like he is desperately trying to avoid injury , so he can cash in with another team next year. What a crappy situation.. But hey , this is the Bills we are talking about.
  16. Byrd, Gilmore, Legursky out. No answers at CB whatsoever, Mario looks like Mary again, One WR, Rookie QBs, Rookie coaches, new guys in new defenses/offense; these guys are 3-4 IR-type injuries from 2 - 14. Sorry, but this edition of the Bills has ' Expansion team' written all over it. Love 'em, but... holy crap this team is thin and inexperienced and everything is new and untried. They will be better in the future.
  17. Why is this franchise an injury magnet? heck, they can't even keep the darn kicker healthy... unbelievable.
  18. They look like an expansion team with the rookie coaches and QBs and skills players. Not all bad; the WRs have great potential, the QB looks like a winner, etc etc., but this is a ground start regrettably. So another season of lots of losses but the physical limitations of the roster seems largely to be gone. Need the young guys to stay/get healthy and get lots of reps this season. We need to continue to be patient. OBD blew the whole thing up this past off season and this is what happens when you blow the whole thing up. Frankly, Marrone almost has to be the final coach under Ralph's ownership. By definition he is building the team for the next coach, who will undoubtedly be chosen by the new owner. You think this thing got blown up last season, just wait until someone pays $800m for the franchise.
  19. Winning solves everything. Win and people begin to pay attention and study up on your team. Suck for 13 years and no one can be blamed for forgetting you have a franchise.
  20. Yep, no hairston, no gilmore, no legursky, i am just waiting for teams to get 20 point leads, we throw the ball every down, leading to Glenn or Wood to go down and watch the whole house of cards fall down again. Sucks to be a Bills fan.
  21. Well, I guess they will learn a lot about the players they have left. Amazing how this team has such a thin roster and then gets a half dozen serious injuries at critical positions. Amazing.
  22. I agree, this is either going to be magic or "expansion team" , with the recent injuries I am thinking, regrettably , the latter. Hard to be bullish any more with usual Bills injury implosion in full bloom yet again.
  23. I believe it is something like 3 and out, that kind of thing, especially if any are severe
