  1. Agreed. When they blew it all up in the offseason and decided to start all over again, this season became one long preseason. Bills win compete hard, players working to execute the new stuff the rookies will continue to learn by their mistakes, etc. EJ will hit a few, miss a few. Ravens in vanilla prevent D by mid 3rd Quarter, Bills will look good in 4th Qtr.. final score 27 - 16 (L). Just like preseason, just with a few less substitutions.
  2. I only watched on replay the comeback from 20 - 6 to 20 - 20. I don't know what you guys are mad about . the Bills look great. Its all a matter of how you consume the product........
  3. Everyone misses Chan's offense. We miss nothing else about Chan, but the guy is an offensive expert. We made a tradeoff, blew it all up , cut just about everyone but got a better D coordinator and probably a better HC, but between new guys Hackett, EJ, Woods etc, plus the loss of Chandler until probably mid season we sacrificed the Chan offensive originality and unpredictability. Can't have it all. They're all new guys working it out right now without a half a dozen starters . At least not right away. When you blow up an entire organization, you take a step backwards for a while. The choice was made and the stupid fans ate it up. Now it reckoning time and those same fans can't handle the rebuild process. This one is on the fans. This is what happens when you blow everything up and start over with a rookie QB. Andy Reid isn't starting over with a rookie QB.
  4. LOL. 1 - 3. But we play well and compete. That's all you can ask when you have no secondary players at all and Joe Flacco instead of Geno Smith is on the other side. And 8 in the box on defense for Ravens. Here's hope'n, but a win in this game will take several acts of G_D.
  5. Plus we have "Bronko" Legursky,
  6. And Spiller will be next to depart as no way the Bills resign him at top money. Jackson was wise to sign for what the Bills were offering or he'd be carpetbagging around the league by now. RB is simply not a key position any more. The threat posed by the QB moreso determines the success of the running game now, not the skill level of the RBs. The rules have made it a passing-first league. 40 running plays a game is a thing of the past.
  7. Gailey's offense was way more complicated and diverse than what they have now. Gailey was so creative in how he got his skill guys the ball. But we all hate Gailey so, yeah, he is gone. So we have a college coach running his no huddle offense. You get what you get. Hackett will unfortunately learn the pro game on the fly. And he will, on our dime. Gailey was an experienced, creative offensive mind with lousy players. He gained yards and scored points with guys either no longer in the league or riding the bench with other teams. Time we gave Gailey credit for the one thing he knew how to do... move the ball and score points.
  8. Some Yahoo fantasy updates: Mon, Sep 23 C.J. Spiller (knee) said he expects to play against the Ravens in Week 4. Advice: Spiller said he twisted his knee during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Jets and lost some explosiveness. But the fact that he's just a little sore and expects to play next week confirms that there's no structural damage. It sounds like a minor sprain. We'll know more once the Bills get back in practice Wednesday.
  9. When they decided to blow everything up and start all over again, the playoffs in 2013 became an impossibility. It is not going to happen. Be happy if the team grows and jells and has 9 or 10 good games that show progress. Its all just preseason games other than that. Learning. Progressing. Seeing who can play and who cannot. That is what this season is all about. Sorry, but that is reality.
  10. +1. When they win, EJ is great, when they lose, EJ is terrible. I love fans.
  11. Love that... "Bronko" Legurski... LOL. And he is better than Brown and he will get on the field as soon as he is healthy. Relax people. As long as yesterdays bumps were not IR type, we will be getting our players back by week 6 and all will be well. They aren't playoff material anyway, Marrone is building a team. I am sure they will draft a guard next year, blah blah.
  12. I loved the comeback from 20 - 6. Kiko's pick was great (that kids's a playah) , EJ's elusiveness under massive rush was great; love the way he pitches the ball around. The 4th down stop was great. A lot to like against a very very stout Jets front 7. EJ's sidelines throws were pretty good actually, the WRs got manhandled by the DBs. You will see Easley when Goodwin comes back and they both get on the field. Easley won't get pushed out of bounds by DBs.
  13. It is called rebuilding. As I have said for months, keep the bandwagon in the garage; when you throw everyone out (players/coaches/GMs) and start over, the clock to playoffs starts over again. Yesterday was just a reminder of that. I just hope the injuries are not season ending for any of these guys. That would be a victory.
  14. of course he is in over his head. he is learning on the job. he is a rookie in the NFL. deal with it. he will be fine
  15. Still too early . Keep the bandwagon in the garage for another couple weeks IMO. We saw the same thing two years ago. Sorry someone had to say it
  16. Um, how bout I'm a bozo for starting Vick instead of Brees ? Yeah , that's it....
  17. Correct. Gotta earn the cred with wins
  18. Yes yes yes. Broken play, instant recognition by Flutie, one of the most instinctive plays I've ever seen, he hesitates at all and they lose. big brother and i partied for hours after that one ( after buying box of flakes)
  19. Yep , this will help us on Thursday night. Has to. Maybe the pieces actually are falling into place... Still too early to tell
  20. Probably a liability as a blocker. That must be it
  21. Need him to be just as big this Sunday to win on the road. He needs to be a force all season for this team to grow. He's the veteran, along with Kyle surrounded by a rookie offense and LBs and banged up secondary. He is a linchpin right now to how everything turns out good or bad.
  22. Yep. Who knows with this team. It is totally game to game at this point.
  23. This . Very perfect answer. And left guard is the least important O Line position. And I think they knew Levitre was dinged up. Just my sense. I think we end up losing them both, because Byrd's agent is unreasonable to boot. Welcome to the NFL>
