  1. Hey , forget it.  Let's go out 9-7 and see if its good enough.   TT is not coming back, I think that is obvious.  And hasn't been from the start , or they would have paid him.   He gave them the best chance to win this year.   Was the right judgement... there was no one else out there (yes , in 20/20 hindsight they could have had Watson, but they wanted to see what they had before they did that).  That will probably not be the case next year.   They will make changes at QB for sure over the next 4 months, that's "the Process", which is less than, what,  10 months and one full season into it.    This was always the "see what we have" year, they burned this year to see what they needed to do.   Now they know.   And now they will act, in my opinion.  Big changes coming b4 next season.

But let's stay in the moment.  They still have a shot to do something this year.

Mods, feel free to merge if you’d like. I want to quickly address four plays that, if they went in a different direction, completely change the dynamic of the game. These four plays are why I’m so infuriated like the rest of you. These four plays also show that the NFL is more like he WWE now where the outcome is predetermined. Unfortunatey for us, the Pats are the NFL’s John Cena and they want them to win.

    1) The Benjamin TD. Man... this play is the epitome of why NFL ratings are dropping. Every day that is a catch. Against any team other than the Pats that is a catch. The biggest issue is overturning it. Called a TD on the field there is no way you can change that. Two feet down and control! It was a momentum crusher and instead of being up 4 at half we were tied. The Bills were absolutely crushed after this. Horrible call.

    2) Lewis 4th and 1 stopped. Extending the ball and it being marked where the extension is, is only valid on out-of-bounds plays and goalline plays. The ball was correctly marked by the SJ and overturned for what reason?! Only because it’s the dang Pats. I swear man... WWE meets NFL again. Once again, another momentum crusher and it brought our defense back on the field when they were off and catching their breath. Just give it to em’ all over again. Another horrible call.

    3) Hyde PI. Initially it may have looked like defensive PI to some, but watching it live I knew it was an awful call from the start. Replay confirmed that Cooks completely jumped into Hyde and somehow made and offensive PI a defensive PI. Result... a 40+ yard gain and the Pats score a few plays later. Oh look another horrible call.

    4) Elston PI in the end zone. Look, I agree upon replay review it was PI, however there was no flag for 3-4 seconds after the pass was ruled incomplete. That is the issue I have. It literally looks like on replay that the ref looks at Gronk to make sure he didn’t catch it, gets

his approval, and then throws the flag. That is where my outrage comes from. Good call but abysmal referee work.

Its obvious the collusion the refs have in favor of NE. It’s so crushing and so demoralizing for us fans, the players, and the city of Buffalo. We don’t deserve this crap. I honestly don’t know how this changes. When the NFL just decides? I’m telling you... if these four plays are called correctly in the Bills favor today then we win. Call me wrong, but you’re wrong if you do.

    Rant end.

It is clearly in the league and networks (who pay the league, who pay the refs) interest that the Patriots succeed and get a top seed in the playoffs, so that the  TV ratings of the playoffs are the highest they can be (which justify the rates paid by advertisers to the network, which then get paid to the league) .   Neither the networks or the league benefit from the Bills doing well, because the Bills kill TV ratings due the small size of the WNY market;  hell half of NFL fans don't even know there is a franchise in WNY.    Whether any of this trickles down to the officials is impossible to tell, but its in everyone's interest that the biggest TV draws (ie; Cowboys, Patriots, Giants, Jets, Rams etc.) do well.   No one wants to watch TV to see Charl Schwartzel win the Masters, they watch to see Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson win it.

It is very frustrating seeing Taylor hold onto the ball way too long, not throw the ball away and take the sack. This happened multiple times during the game. On one play and first and ten, Taylor could have thrown the ball away, but instead holds onto it way too long, gets sacked for a fifteen yard loss and it becomes 2nd and 25. This happened again on a third down late in the game by which Taylor fumbled.

r wilson just did the same thing in Cowboys game.  reeeelaaax

No. QB and trenches only in the first 2 rounds. No receivers, no running backs, no corners. Our failings this year have been in games where we have been blown off the ball on one side or the other or both or where our Quarterback play has been substandard. I know our recivers are not great and I know Shady can't go on forever. But I think they should be 2019 priorities or 2018 late round fliers.

agreed.  RB is an easy position to draft.

I get that Brady is possibly one of the greatest of all time.  I know our record over the past 20 years against them.  I know the genius of the Hoodie and how unstoppable Gronk is.

    I don't !@#$ing care.

They are men.  They were beaten badly by the dolphins.  They don't have anywhere near on the line what we have.  Tyrod is playing for a contract.  This regime has shown that anyone is expendable.  The playoffs are within our control for the first time in a long time.

I want to see some fire!  I want to see McDermott reach into the bag of tricks.  I want to see Brady on his ass.  I want to see Gronk get punched in the mouth.

!@#$ the process.  !@#$ the history.  I want to see our men smack the Hoodies men around the field tomorrow.

    Merry !@#$ing Christmas Everyone!

ok coach .  whatever you say

Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin confirmed Friday that he will "probably" get surgery on the torn meniscus in his right knee after this season.

Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin on chance of re-injuring or aggravating his existing knee injury on Sunday: "I can't really think about it. If that happens, it happens. ... My ACL, my MCL, all that stuff is pretty much good. You can nick it. You can aggravate it again. But that's football."

Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin will be listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. He said Friday of his injured right knee, "I got to deal with what I got. But I'm prepared to go out there and play. Whatever happens, whatever happens. Try to get through this win."

I've had this injury.   As long as the flap of torn off meniscus stays flat on the inside of the "bowl" of meniscus that the femur end sits in and  doesn't fold over and impinge the nerves (and will hurt like a knife)  , he can go.   Kind of luck of the draw .  I held out for years before it became too annoying when it would fold over.   He can't make it any worse, but if the loose flap folds over he's f d.  One day i could run five miles no prob, 2 days later nada.

    i dont get it

op is right.    Taylor will look like a hs qb vs the pats again.

probably, but they've won this year when TT looked like a hs qb, so maybe that's not the only predictor.   turnovers, injuries matter, lets see how the thing plays out on the field .  they won in Cinci last year when AJ Green went out on the first play.    we'll see
