  1. whatever. Nice rousing prose. Belushi in Animal House would have been proud yikes.
  2. So glad I disconnected DirecTV and the NFL Ticket. Has spared me much pain this year.
  3. they'll win just enough to avoid a real impact player in the draft, as always
  4. Well, I guess this is still a "rebuilding year" after all. Put away the popcorn. I'd take him if he's there. He's a baller. He won't last though. Need to almost lose out to get him. hmm now there's an idea...
  5. They will be competitive and will grow some more today. I am simply interested in seeing what they do with close to a full team.
  6. Never? Yikes. A pile of IR-type Injuries end seasons my friend. The least injured quality teams are generally the teams who make the playoffs my friend. No one has any depth with the way the salary cap and free agency work. "next man up " is fine for a game or two but is a bunch of garbage over the course of a season.
  7. I love it. 3 - 6 is based on a beaten up team. Last 7 games we have all hands on deck. Now the fun begins. Get your popcorn, people. It is showtime. Go Bills.
  8. Williams will replace Byrd next year and that will be that. Gilmore, McK, Searcy and Williams for a few years hopefully. Brooks/Robey as nickel. You will see this group show off over the last 7 games. Watch and enjoy. Finally we get the entire D on the field pretty much healthy. Took 9 games to get here, but here we are.
  9. The season begins today. No more injury excuses. Lets take a hard look at this squad.
  10. Goodwin and Woods are rapidly making him expendable, regardless of his play.
  11. I think TJ is one of those typical college WR guys who either "get it" in year 3 or the team, they simply do not offer another contract to when his rookie deal is done. He is fast and can influence safeties deep. He may be WR 4 or 5 and then he's gone unless he breaks out.
  12. in this day and age? maybe.... ?
  13. 5 - 2 over the last 7 games ; you could not ask for anything more.
  14. with a pulled hammy he aint' out - runnin' anyone... we will see
  15. Well make up your mind... the topic suggests you believe it. I guess another bunch a games where key guys are lost to injury could easily lead to 3-13, if that does not happen you have a relatively healthy team playing teams at or below their talent level. which tells me that we win most of them.
  16. Good quality roster yes, but no one at the most important position on the field. Thad is nice, but he is a bottom 10 QB in the league. Tuel is just a disaster QB who played like one. And TJ's fumble was a great play by the KC player. EJ's injury was total rookie mistake on his part and cost us the difference between 5-4 and 3-6. They have played Cinci, Saints and KC ... hard to get much with bad to average qb play. Marrone is doing his part.
  17. TE's Raiders game comeback was tremendous.
  18. Correct. We knew this was a rebuilding year with rookie QBs, Coaches, front office, the works. they are all learning on the job. That generally does not add up to a lot of wins. Here's hoping EJ is a quick learner -- with his quality upbringing, etc. he seems very very coachable and learns additional applications of virtues like prudence and caution very quickly.
  19. monday madness continues. EJ's back,. get happy people. the merry go round is over
  20. he can go party with Rob Johnson and Aaron Maybin... oh an Jamarcus R. .....
  21. Well, 6 and 1 from here on out probably gets it done. Who knows, maybe it can be done if Spiller is not out for another two weeks.
  22. Pretty sure he won't be around some season's end. With Flynn freeing up , the Bills have replaced the loss of Kolb, so Tuel is probably the odd man out with Thad's good play and Dixon on the practice squad.
  23. Yep. Just two. Turnovers lose games in the NFL. No one will remember how Hackett's terrible playcalling rolled up 470 yards against the leagues "best" defense. turnovers lose games. Injuries lose seasons. EJ's injury lost the season. A first time QBs two picks cost 10 points and TJ's failure on ball security cost 7 points and the game. Tough game the NFL. 3 - 6 is all anyone remembers.
