\The Bills have the lowest TV ratings in the NFL. What TV network scheduler would be dumb enough to put them on Monday night or T-Giving?? Give me a break. Might as well put an AHL game on Christmas Day and "hope for the best". From a national standpoint, the Bills are completely unmarketable at this point. If they come out 3-0, then you'll see them get regional looks against AFC East teams, but flexing the Bills to Sunday night is laughable. They'll be out of the running long before flexing starts. But the tailgates are great

Just another Bill who never played anywhere else and never saw the playoffs in his entire Bills career. They should start a club of guys who were on no other active roster than the Bills (which tells you something right there) during the past 14 years. What a group. I'd like a list of those guys. I'll bet there a a lot of names on it. Too many. the longer the list , the more revealing it is.

Regrettably, this is probably about right. In the NFL, without a strong OC and a strong QB you won't win but 1 out of 3 against a league that has plenty of both. Pegs would have cleaned house anyway, this will just accelerate it. Likely starting all over again next year, but with committed long term ownership hiring quality FO and coaching staff willing to join a long term committed owner. We shall see.

alan branch is an excellent example of this phenomenon... the whole "guaranteed money" thing needs to go away and we go back to big contracts but minimal guaranteed $. that is the way it used to be .. cannot remember when the guaranteed contracts came into play.. its becoming baseball or the NBA. I am losing interest.

I'm sure Orton was hanging on for a starter to go down and get signed for starter $$. makes sense. worst case sign the best deal you can just before the season to get another year of seniority. Orton handled it perfectly.

We shall see. Doesn't look like EJ is the real deal, though. They will protect him by running the ball and throwing screens against 8 in the box defense. This could be ugly. Without turnovers, they will be competitive. With turnovers, there could be some really unwatchable games. We shall see.

In public, does he have a choice? ripping your only starter in the media is not the way to go. EJ is all they have and all they will have. they need to run run run the ball, screen (traditional, bubble and quick) pass it, and play defense this year. all they can do and play s teams. and I believe that is what they will do. same way steelers did it with Ben. win ugly. and defenses will plan to force them to pass downfield ... should be interesting

If Bills win less than 8 this year it won't matter as they all will be tossed out. as they say, "Dead men walking" and arguing with each other to boot. This franchise amazes me at its mediocrity. Kudos to Pegs for saving it for the fans... i think....

Gotta be an upgrade over Tuel. If EJ was drafted because of his big hands and arm strength, why would the same criteria not apply to Mallett? He can't be any slower on the draw mentally than EJ, so what's not to like?
